you guys seriously need to take astep back and re-read the trophy winners lists. you are getting yourselves worked up over your own misunderstanding.
olly won the pro drag class (ie the sub 11.3s class) by setting the best time of the day. he got the trophy for it and a boost controller. very generously he passed the prize onto the next car down (non tuner) which as mikee owns the car was decided that should be him. mikee did NOT win the pro drag class.
the drag shootout final is a seperate trophy (large one!) which mikee did indeed win. he has also been listed as such, please see below. we havent changed or ammended any results we've posted what we declared and presented on the day.
your own thread earlier about pro/tuner cars was clarified by myself , no one pays to get a tuner listing at scoobylive-scoobyshootout, hence mikees car appearing just with his name. the reason RCM was mentioned in the results is purely because it got written down like that on the day then typed up the same, no ulterior motives, why should there be? Mikee won the drag shootout fair and square and got listed as that:
Pro Drag Class
1st - OMA Performance Gizzmo Boost Controller and £50 Millers Oils voucher
Trophy
Winner-OLLY CLARKE RCM 9.37S 144MPH
(PRIZE AWARDED TO MIKEE SINGH FASTEST NON TUNER)
Drag Shootout Champion
AET Turbos Rolling Road Session, Free Entry to Redline TOTB7, 12 Months Subscription to Japanese Performance Magazine, £50 Millers Oils voucher-
WINNER- MIKEE SINGH
RUNNER UP- OLLY CLARKE RCM

Mikee didnt set the fastest time though in pro class did he, Olly did, then me.
Mikee did however beat Olly in the Drag Shoot Out ( a seperate competition if you like), and well done to Mikee, he deserved it after all the effort and money he has poured in over the years.
I was teasing Olly about physcing (sp?) him out in the finals, only it didnt happen due to me smashing another box, it would seem that Mikee did exactly what i had planned for Olly
Steven
ps You still need to settle the bill at the Indian, i gave them your name and address
pps the ps is a joke

hopefully i've answered their confusion on who won what, i am suprised its been queried as we have only listed it exactly as it happened and its clearly two seperate trophies and prizes. no one has tried to alter anything?
Mikee won the drag shootout fair and square and got the largest trophy and most prizes, but didnt win the pro drag class itself, olly did. as steven says, his Lateral car was second in the class anyway!

First off, the other thread was removed for the simple reason that i only wanted one thread with the full results on. No other reason, and certainly not because of any content. If this has caused problems, i apologise.
Kev,
I am very very disappointed that you are suggesting the handling was a farce. There were minor problems on the day, but no way does that justify calling it a farce.
Can i suggest you re think that statement.
A lot of time and effort by many people has gone in to organising this event. Calling part of it a farce, leaves a bad taste in my mouth, as i am sure you appreciate.
Regards
Shaun

i had a great day, slightly spoiled by the Cone issue. I'n hindsight Organisers really should have spoken to God before the Event started for less Wind
I like many drastically improved my times by acutally not getting lost in the "sea of cones" or the Apex Cones going faster than me
If posssible for Next year, For Peeps like me not used to "cone" type events, I'd like to see
1) L/hand cone say blue and R/Hand Cones yellow
2) Some wieght in the Cones just in case I get wind again
I hope to attend next year and well done to everyone under difficult circumstances.
IIRC IMHO
