CCTV footage of Rangers fans....

Never had this problem in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Perhaps I'm too big and ugly lookin. Sorry
Oh and crucially; the thing I HATE most about Glasgow is the question, "whit team dae yi support mate!". I don't like the 50:50 odds of getting my head stomped on and IME this simply isn't a problem. Even if a bunch of guys wearing hibs tops asked me that on a bus down Leith I'd still happily respond, "Jambo's lads"

Oh and I'm willing to bet, if you ask 100 Welsh, or 100 Scottish people what nationality they are, over 99% would say Welsh or Scottish over British.

The other one that gets me is people that say they are from "Glasgow" when they are actually from Paisley or East Kilbride or some other surrounding area. What, does Glasgow have no boundary!?!?! Maybe we should just claim South Queenferry, Livingston, Dalkeith and Tranent as all parts of Edinburgh

lol, that's for sure. But seriously, I've lived in and about Glasgow for many years. Perhaps I just choose the right circles to move in. But I've never experienced or met the single minded stereotypical Glasgow neds you seem to think populate Glasgow in huge numbers. Well perhaps on a few occasions. I seriously think you move in the wrong circles SB
Perhaps they don't play enough poker

Oh and I agree with you re the peripheral Glasgow 'folk'. But. Take Prestwick Airport as an example. They (Ayrshire folk) hate with a vengeance the 'Pure Dead Brilliant' logo. And I'd agree with them. It's crap. Pure dead crap if you will. A drunken jock rolling about with a bottle to signify a welcome to Scotland? Well done all

those pics are class.
a sizeable number of those Huns in Manchester won't come from Glasgow. being an OF fan in Scotland is like being a Man U fan - any town or city you go to there will be huge supporters clubs for both OF teams. mind you, I even know a Villa fan up this way - random or what

DevilDog, I see your point, a lot of groups of fans have the propensity to misbehave, but in this case its the Rangers fans making a right **** of themselves, so you posting stuff about other fans reminds me of when I pull missus up on something and she turns it round and says "What about when you....."
Insert whatever I have done recently (or over the last twenty years) to take the heat off her......

Together with the failure of many of those posting to acknowledge that people in glass houses should think twice about throwing stones.
