You'll struggle to get a mint low milage MY05 STI PPP for 12K. Definitely the best of the Euro STI's IMHO. I've got one with 20K on the clock, all the prodrive xtras STI kick plates, quick shift etc. I wouldn't let mine go for less than 15K. Thats a lot of bang for your buck . Anyway good luck they are great cars.

Yep. I had a 2003 STI and now have a 2005 STI with PPP and I much prefer the 05 car. Mine has 13k on the clock and only comes out of the garage when it's dry (but it is white so I have an excuse!) I think for 12k you'd be looking at a pre-05 car, unless you get a higher mileage one.

When I was a young un (i.e. under 25) I found that I couldn't get insurance on imported cars like Imprezas, maybe things have changed now? It's going to cost you a fortune either way!

When will you be looking to buy ? I may be selling mine in a few months. Mines a black 04 STI PPP but is the 05 model so has DCCD (C.DIFF) and slightly revised rear bumper.
