Woohoo, just got the key to the city.

Just to confirm:

Brucie's races, yes you can race with spawned cars.

Stunt Jumps, yes you can use spawned cars, bikes or boats.

Pigeons, yes you can use the lower/remove wanted level (this is pretty much essential as 9/10 pigeons have police near by)

54hours total.

 

Can someone help with two stunt jumps please they are on the 3rd island on the main highway at the bottom on both corners. No matter how fast ive taken them it still says not good enough

Also what do you have to do with the sick freeks ?

 

On the highway, where the dirt pile is, the one lower left of the map you need to approach from the right - driving to the left, best bet is to drive on the opposite side of the highway and cut across last minute.

The one on the right of the map you need to take driving from the left to the right, again opposite side of road cutting across.

It only works driving the correct way, you can not hit the ramp from the other direction. Also the one on the left you have to clear the warehouse roof below.

Have you tried both cars and bikes?

The sick freaks don't do anything, altho i think some of them may double up as a friend which has a mini side mission.

 

You get a mission where by you drive somebody to the other islands.

 

Thank you got them at last now im missing 1 i marked them all on my map so i could rub them out when i did them but i still managed to miss two. One was on top of police building the other i have no idea have to redo all again.

 

Bummer, i know how you feel mate i had to search 50 pigeons again until i found by missing one.

 

im trading it in the second toca grid comes out . i find it really tedious !

 

I found the annihilator without using the cheat and without getting all the pigeons!!

It's parked on a roof near the helicopter tours.

 

Yup on the roof of the star shaped building, it's also in the airport altho i think this may only appear after completing the story.

 

Ah yes but the annihilator before you get the pigeons has no rockets

 

I'm pretty sure it hasnt anyways, i'll check tonight

 

Certainly the Annihilator you get in Multiplayer hasn't got rockets.

 

Are these achievements on PS3 or only XBOX?

I've used weapons and wanted level cheat from the very start - have done on all GTA games

If I don't use the wanted cheat then I spend 99% of the time getting chased by the police as I can't help slapping nearly every person I walk past. And it's no fun if you don't have a vast array of weapons (especially grenades) at all times

 

You get the same effect on both machines. I.e.e kill all the pigeons you get the annihilator on Both 360 and PS3.

However, obviously only the 360 will actually give you achievement points

 

I think it has rockets but they don't fire, they are just for show. It has mini guns.

Are you able to fire the rockets on the annihilator after you've done the pigeons?

I've heard that there isn't any helicopters in GTA 4 that can fire rockets like the previous versions.

 

Every site ive read about gta4 achivements says to use the rockets you have to get the 200 pigeons.

Right then, the annihilator does not have rockets, on close inspection it has 4 sets of mini guns.

No it doesn't fire rockets after 200 pigeons, or for 100% the game.

 

What a rip every gta has had rockets with the hidden objects. Why have they left so much out. They best have them added on the dlc when it comes out or else lol

 

I was hugely excited in advance of getting the game.....but am a bit bored with it. Have opened up the second island but am finding:

- missions too easy (done them all first go. yawn). e.g. the one where you go on the date with the bloke. I had to take a phone call and forgot to pause, 10 mins later I wandered outside and the guy was effectively waiting for me to shoot him! poor.
- missions are all too samey - nothing very different or exciting
- going out for dinner/darts/pool etc with people is quaint but boring and takes ages
- graphics great but it lacks the fun - where are the random killing sprees, running over god-botherers, flying planes, jumping off mountains, aliens, tanks etc etc
- what happened to all the ****e in advance about being able to choose your own destiny / run missions in parallel etc

Shame - to be fair I haven't played online yet, which sounds fun.

unlocked the final island this morning at around 40% compleated, found one of these sultan RS cars with the dump valve and then spent an hour or so just driving about, will never compleat this game in under 30 hours (24 now lol)

never played any online at all yet!

Help im missing 2 pigeon's i know where they both are looking on this map but this one i have been looking for ages. I have 84 that one was under the bridge on a support but 85 i have no idea. Can any one remember ?

 

Walk along the bridge from the right heading left, it's sitting on the wall

 

Is the other 101, took me awhile on this one, if you are on the freeway you will see 3 sets of containers, however theres a 4th set just below freeway level to the left of the other 3 so walk up the freeway and you should see it looking down.
