Well, i was perfectly happy with how it looked, but then this came up for sale.....
RCM carbon reverse bonnet vent.
So i thought ''why not'' and bought it.
Still getting used to it. It's certainly different.
Not sure how well it works, but if it's good enough for RCM and P20SPD then it's good enough for me!!!

This weekend saw a few more additions. (Sorry, no pics yet as i forgot the camera!)
The up-pipe has been blowing for a wee while, so a new H&S one was fitted.
What a fun job that was
What with wanting to do more track days this year, the exhaust volume was a problem. The Nur Spec was 110db without the bung, and 105db with the bung fitted. Aswell as still being too loud the performance was restricted, so decided to get a different exhaust.
I went for a Fujitsubo titanium 3" system. To say it's quiet is un understatement, but is exactly what i need.
Was also fitted a set of 550cc injectors, and will have the car re-mapped shortly by Jolly Green Monster.
Last but not least, a set of Cusco coilovers went on. The car now sits exactly how i wanted it to, and is a lot nicer to drive. They are pretty much as firm as the Tein springs, but have much less roll when cornering.
Will add some pictures when i get the car out the garage next

just out of interest i have the same issue with my exhaust, ran 100db so was after something softer for trackdays. next time you do one could you let me know what db the new exhaust was running.
as for the cusco coilovers, my rear shocks have just gone and was going for a swet of KYB AGX's and Eibach pro springs which i think are close to TIEN springs, how do coilovers fair up in real road driving i have heard they are stiff and bang about a lot etc. seen cusco up at japperformance parts for £600 nearly the same as new shocks and springs, which would be a better option
thanks

Will let you know what db it reads.
To be honest i haven't really used the car since they were fitted.
However, a friend had pretty much the same ones on his car, it it wasn't too bad on the roads. Put them on a soft setting and you should be ok.

A few more small changes to it.
Had the windows tinted today. They did the two rear ones, but has to go back next week for the rear screen to be done.
And Monday it's being re-mapped by Jolly Green Monster. Should be interesting to see how it goes with a bit more power
Have also been considering entering the Brands Hatch round of Time Attack.
Anything other than last place will be a great result, but still not 100% if i'll do it yet. Need to see how the mapping goes next week, and it any problems arise. Also need to get a wheel bearing changed and the alignment set up.

Had the re-map done today by Jolly Green Monster, and i am very impressed.
It now boosts to 1.3-1.4 bar, and drives really smoothly. Just need to get a new lambda sensor, as mine isn't too well.
Goes back for the rear screen to be tinted on Wednesday, then not too sure what'll be next. Was thinking of a Seibon carbon P1 splitter, but undecided about that at the moment.
Quick piccy from the Surrey Scoobies meet yesterday....
Not too bad for a (nearly) 15 year old car.

Well, the engine has finally let go, at Brands Hatch.
However, it isn't too bad.
I bought a spare engine a few weeks ago, as i knew the current engine was on borrowed time.
Going to spend this week fitting new cambelt, tensioner, gaskets etc, and will stick a Roger Clarke oil pump one there aswell. May also invest in an oil cooler.
All being well she'll be back on the road this time next week
