Watching the game last night I always thought Chelsea would create one decent chance to score.

Liverpool looked very vulnerable on the right hand side of their defence and if Chelsea had played a bit better they would have exploited it earlier.

I still think Liverpool have a more than decent chance of going through though.

If its all about just the results, however they are achieved, how come the fans seem to hate Grant, the owner is unhappy and Grant will more than likely get fired whatever trophies he wins ?
For clubs like Chelsea results almost seem irrelevant if they are not achieved with style & classy football, wierd as that sounds.

 

Because the fans are paying to watch something that isnt entertainment thats why, looking at it from any other perspective, Abromovich isnt bothered about flair, he wants trophies, if thats what Grant brings then he'll stay in the job. Simple. You have to remember Chelsea have won nothing outside England (IIRC) since hes been in charge, Why do you think Chelsea originally bought Shevchenko, it was because Abromovich wanted the Champions League. You think if Chelsea grind out results, get to the final and even win Abromovich is going to sack him?

as for us, we've got one of the best away records in European games. Barca, Juventus, Inter, we've done them all. Chelski think they're already there.
