.... were?

As I have never found one, it would be difficult to sell

So, as you say you have never been in the market, would you care to admit that you are making stuff up?

I don't know.. it's all a mess.

I have made a loss on my property's, current one is a luxury home, 3 story 5 bedroom (potential for 7 rooms) in a private cul-de-sac but it's just not budging.

Had it on the market end of last year for £485k, now its advertised for £385k.. not nice

'on the market' price has only ever been a pipe dream. If you post stuff like this, the petes will be along to tell us that the UK has suffered a 25% correction.

BTW - Arr you moving up or down?

So who is the lender then, or is there any chance that could be one of those internet ads that make you think you are getting something that doesn't exist?

<hyperlink to double the size of your **** and make pretty girls want you sooooo much goes here>

I don't do self cert mortgages. It always ends in tears. You are the one who claimed 100% self cert mortgages were or are available, but you don't know who the lender is. So do you know what lender does or did 100% self cert or are you just making it up?

Why don't you enquire to the above broker, it is not in my interest to bother.

are you claiming that the owners of:
Mortgage | Self cert | Certification | 100 | % | ( Percent ) | UK

have have never brokered such a product that they are advertising?

their website states that this is their business and that this was entirely possible, take it up with them if you do not believe their information.

So you are basing your opinions on a link on the internet of which you have no knowledge or experience?

I have no knowledge or experience of a 100% self cert mortgage. That is why I don't think it exists. I could be wrong, but because i have no knowledge or experience, and because I haven't inadvertently gained any knowledge or experience of such a product in my time in this industry, I choose to believe that it doesn't exist.

p.s. - Can I interest you in a bag of my magic dodo repellent? For a mere £200.00 a gram, it will ensure that your house isn't overrun by dodo's

bollox - I've just realised that I am in the wrong job. Here is a link I found. If it says it on the internet it must be true

Didn't have to be a 100% self cert to be silly though.

The whole point of concern was someone saying 'I earn £100,000 pa .Honest(£10,000 if truth be known),can I therefore borrow £500,000 towards this £600,000 house (on the off chance it might shoot up £1o0k and I can snaffle some profit before I'm rumbled and people find out I can't even afford the monthly instalment)

Of course Sir,now just promise us you aren't telling fibs.

I think that is the sort of scenario that (although extreme) is what peole believe has been going on and banks have been (not now) very relaxed about( or so it seemed)
