wagon fettle
Those wheels need 5x locking nuts on them, caps look good, I prefer the protruding ones
Makes my wagon's rota torques look even cheaper than they already are
never mind, I have just treated the wagon to a new number N555 WGN
(Zak said you would approve
)
I will have to look into the ducting as I need more cold air.
Keep up the good work

new front springs fitted...

bumper back on and ready to go, not particularly happy with the gaps but to be honest i've had enough of d!cking about with it; lots of effort with very little return!

I hope to get the geometry sorted Friday afternoon\evening at Mocom. I bet it rains all weekend now

I had a problem with the ratio of the drop gears as the Transfer box + Diff I used was off a JDM model and mine is a UK. Off memory the teeth were 30/33 and i needed 31/31, this is where the gears fouled the inside of the casing, then we noticed that one of the casings has had a relief milled for the larger gear. Job done....Problem solved
Makes a DIFFerence to the drive if it is wrong ratio

They came from Simon's old Jolly Green Monster...rails were an option on the early wagons so if you hunt around you will be able to find some. That will make three cars with black roof's as Daz Davies has recently painted his too...I'm loosing my edge

I know it was a terrible pun mate, Cant have it all !!
With your roof being black and their now being 3 examples, wonder what other one off mods there are in "Wagon World" ? wondered if i've got the widest tyres on a classic wagon @ 235 on rear ?
Hope you dont mind me matching my scoop/spoilers and vents to match my rails ?......which leads me onto....Personally dont like the de-rail mod, its a wagon, it has roof rails, good enough for the RS6 Avant (the daddy of Wagons) good enough for my old girl
Any wagoneers doing the "McRae Gathering" ?

yours is totally origional in my eyes, all the mods have been carried out to create something that hasn't been done before...I don't have a monopoly on non-colour coding

Finished the last job on Thursday night; sorting the cold air feed to stop it flapping around at speed...flower pot time

Cut the lip off glued it to the ducting to give a nice rigid rim to locate on the back of the driving light cover.

Fixed in place, perfect

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my geometry sorted yesterday, so will have to wait until next week...at least I can drive it now though

digressing slightly, my firend Bri came round to finish off modifying his wheels...car looks like a toy its so pretty

Its the reflective stuff that is normally applied to motorbike rims...

Looks soooo good...just need to get his win mirrors painted black now

of course we then had to go out and make sure the tape wouldn't come off...sadly the 355 got angry with me once it found out the silver thing was quicker and I now have three stone chips in my screen when I was following
