Maybe Trev
One of the reasons I stepped back from it last week was the driveshaft pin...this thing had me seriously looking at 996 GT3s. Luckily I'm too stupid to give up and not cool enough to own one so after three days I managed to remove it, separate hub from lower ball joint, remove driveshaft, rotate 180 degrees and fit a new retaining pin.
The bits on the right are snapped 'tools' I used to remove the damn thing
Front ARB and mount painted...and its been fitted...
Gear shift linkage all fitted, Kartboy bushes (soory Alyn I bought these before you were making yours)
B&M quick shift was there before but all back in place...
Sprayed the support thingy I made; didn't like the way it was visible through the grill against the black rad.
Symms headers on; pita and a good job I haven't returned Frayz engine crane...I had to lift the engine to allow the up-pipe to clear from front sub-frame
Propshaft and exhaust fitted...
Rad, ps cooler and slam panel refitted...

It'll be fine and VERY fast I'm sure. You must be getting excited now the finish line is in sight!
I'm sure you'll have some teething problems to test your patience when its up and running - I worry not though as you are a very patient chap judging by how long the build has taken
