My cat did that years ago, fell straight in to a bucket of used gearbox oil, whole body and head!!. Took him to the vets and was told "leave him, he'll clean himself up" - which he did. He stank for weeks though, especially when he sat in front of the fire
My bill was something like £12 for the consultation
Engine next weekend then??

My old cat used to sit guard on the car and slide all over it when it was waxed.... I used to drop a couple of towels on the car and he used the new age car cover where it was streched over the rear spoiler as a hammock ! stretched right out you have never seen anything like it

She still stinks Trev and there are still oily footprints over the whole house...your vet must have been tougher than mine

I just had a quick look but only found the one on the car not the cover, you cannot control a cat you have to conform
