lol, way ahead of you there Matt, I was busy sourcing arches before you posted on Darren's thread...not sure I will fit the ones I've got hold of as it looks like quite a few people will be running them and I do like to be a little different

Always happy to spend someone elses' money; managed to spend a decent amount of my mates the other day on a private plate for his 355

the arches are probably going to be used on something else now...but I may end up running wider track at some point

exterior wise nothing is really springs to mind, I do need to get my bonnet painted and want to swap my roof out; I have a dealer retrofit sunroof and really want a factory steel version. Already spoken to Darren about this but really need it running first

Nice work!

How do you widen the track without wider arches? Roll the arches?

Leave it standard as poss on the exterior... or maybe a v limited/spec c type roof rent like Frayz?

Gives me inspiration for my wagon project, what did your wagon start out as a uk2000 turbo? Or was it an import?

I love it!

sorry Ross, poor explanation on my part, I probably will end up with a wider track and appropriate body additions...be they wings or arches

i would run a vent but I really like my sunroof, not sure why I just do

I had thought of moving it to the boot, but then decided I was too lazy to wire it up

Trails, I've just been looking through this thread and gotta say that you've got an awesome wagon there.

I saw you removed your roof bars and as a fellow classic wagon owner I want to do the same. Do you mind me asking where you got the blanking trim strip from?

Cheers

Cheers mclark

the trim came from the Jolly Green Monster; Simon's old wagon. I have the part numbers though, but be warned they are horribly expensive

Can you post up the part numbers or PM them to me so that I can find out what they cost - I'll make sure I'm sitting down when I make the call!

Thanks

they are a fairly complex mix of metal, plastic and clever little mountings so I'm not sure even Darren would be able to copy them

Nah easy. Fit one up off the car and mould the top of it. This way you'll get the look of the standard scoob item. Then you can make it to the depth needed to sit flush with the roof when fitted. To fit it just remove all the fittings for the rails so you are left with an empty channel and bond it on with windscreen sealer.
