Hows everyone doing?

I've done Shell and done Mushroom, Banana, Flower this morning, unlocking Leaf and Star Cups.

 

I've completed all 50cc and 100cc cups. Not tried the 150cc yet. Unlocked a few new character's and karts. Still as frustrating as ever when your on the last bend and you get hit by a blue shell!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Get online Marc, great fun!

 

Was online for an hour and half this morning! Got myself up to 5479. Hate it when you're leading and get hit like you say and end up way down!

 

Just picked up a copy as well. I see that the Links target game and zapper is still hard to get hold off.

Just to answer a few questions from above,

Genuine steering wheels can be bought at argos £6.99
Gold steering wheel means you've raced 250 times or more.
Weaving to enable boosts has been taken out.
Using a manual Kart enables you to skip to get boosts

 

When you thinking. I dont have much planned tonight so I shall probably be on. Payback doesnt sound very nice! Looking at the stats earlier and you have won 8, whilst i have only won 3

Have to get the wife online to stop me being last

Just thought!! Maybe a good idea if we add our Mii names like Scoobyvirgin did so we can relate who is who!

Off now - good couple of races peoples. And have increased my wii rating to almost 5400 points!

 

Only saw you for that one race then it disconnected me! It's done it several times to me today. Was just racing with Nut but he's pretty good so had to try and gang up on him with our lass!

 

Yeah I had a couple of races with him as well - he bloody rocks! He was miles out in front compared to me.

 

Bought a wii at the weekend and been searching everywhere for a copy of this, just been to all the shops in canary wharf, all sold out, tried all the shops in tunbrisge wells at the weekend but nothing. Can't even find a second remote at the moment!!!

I have just been online with my 8yr old son - great fun

We did 4 races, won 3 between us and kept in top 3 both of us in the others. Top stuff.

Oh, btw better to just hold the shell/banana behind you (hold the use item button) when you hear the red shell coming it will block it

Also, I used the wheel for a while but when Rainbow Road was doing my head in I switched to nunchuk/remote. How much easier!! Far more precise.

Played for an hour or so earlier and got up to 6200ish.

There was a bloke on there with 8400 and I could not beat him.

He seemed to have some extra power, as a few times I was in front of him and he always ended up winning - bizarre, no idea how he did it.

Before anyone says, I know all the items etc., he seemed to warp in front just at the finish line

Anyway, its still great fun especially when playing with my boy

 

I bought this for my nephews birthday from a well known store in the high street and upon him opening it on his birthday he found that there was no disk!

After going to the shop (without the game box i may add as he lives 200 miles away) and just mentioning it without kicking off in any way they gave me a complete new game.....apparently this has been happening a fair amount.

So my advise is check the box at the shop before you go home to make sure it has a game in!

 

50cc complete.
First two 100cc competitions done and just unlocked the 100cc Star Cup.

Down to just under 6000 now
