I had this way back on the SNES and with the addition of the wheel and online play you get with the Wii, I'd say it's the best version yet!

i have been playing online maybe 20 times (Worldwide random)
and have been only LAST all the time... maybe when i come off the last place ....maybe just maybe

LOL! I'm only on about 5500 points and you start with 5000 so I'm not exactly ripping it up!

just had 30 mins of play
managed to NOT come last in all of them woohooo
about 5s, 8s and 9s though
only came 2nd twice but it was with 2 i mean 5 players

The white wheel indicates that they are using the wheel controller but I'm not sure about the gold one! I feel more research coming on!

I have been playing this most of the weekend also. Its a wicked game and better than the previous versions i think 
The wheel works much better than I thought it ever would. I am off out to lunch now but when I get back i shall be adding my number on here and look forward to loosing to you all

Is it as playable as the SNES and N64 version? I have regularly been playing Mariokart for the last fifteen years and it is one game that has never lost it's longevity. It is so addictive and fun in multiplayer form. The Gamecube version was crap, I hated that not half as good as it's predecessors.

I bought it on Friday. I havn't tried Wiimote and Nunchuck and I don't intend to. The wheel has been very responsive so far. I didn't realise it would be as sensitive as it is!

I use Yoshi at the moment but that's only cause I've not unlocked too many charactors. I think you can unlock your own mii by winning the 100cc special cup. Not been on the game today so will add all the numbers tomorrow and we'll have some ScoobyNet fun!
