Just been using Toad in the standard Kart but doesnt always do too well....I need to unlock some better karts

 

How do i find my friend code? playing this last night online for the 1st time...

Can we make a official list up with name's and code's , should be a good laugh!

 

If you goto the Mario Kart Channel you will see your mii and a 12 digit code under your head. That's what you need.

 

Ok then lets start an official list. I'll post whats been put up so far then all you have to do is "quote" or copy & paste then add yours to the list.

Got this last night off a mate for my birthday. Only managed an hour but was suprised how easy the wheel was to use.

Will get online tonight or tomorrow and post up my number.

A bit annoyed that you cant hop like you could in previous versions to powerslide and get up awesome levels of speed (at least at 150cc )

I think it only supports 2 online players at once. Me and the GF have been playing online since I bought it. We got a decent deal from Toys r us, £34.99 with a second wheel. Granted, it is not a genuine Nintendo wheel but it'll do for me! Get it bought and get on here, it will be a good giggle!

Sorry, I meant playing from one console. Your right that you can play upto 12 players at once though.

 

Up to 12 players can play online in one game, but two players can be on the same Wii playing online.

Have finally regained my points back from 4300 to over 5100 tonight...yey

 

Was on for an hour tonight. I think I'm at a similar points score. Trying to keep above 5000 but its bloody hard sometimes!

 

still not gonna add any of you guys yet,
managed to get myself from 3996 to 4500 but i'm in no shape to join the big boys yet.

 

Ha ha. Cant exactly say that im anywhere near the standard of half of the people on there but have won some really fluky races as well as lost some pretty stupid races.

Get your name on the list and join the carnage. I dont even know if Spoons even knew I was on tonight but I joined him in the races and he was my constant target!!! Even though I dont know him personally but know of him...thats enough to hone my shell blasting skills he he

Seen the video's & reviews & i just have 2 admit, It looks bloody fun as i've always been a follower to all of there Mario Kart games....

 

I got mine in gamestation in exeter last week. £7 I will see if they have any this weekend if you have no luck anywhere else. let me know.

 

Hopefully you will have a chipped machine that can accept updates. I know of a few people at work with them, they can't play the latest games or get the lastest Wii updates.

the main problem i get with this game is
last lap and ALWAYS 1 or 2 corners from the finish line,
i always lead but suddenly i will have the red or green shell, or the lightning,
i will get hit, and thats how i normally lose

 

It can be frustrating, I try to keep a shell to fire backwards just in case.
