Right, since the last post, the time has come...

Popping to Rising Phoenix today for another couple of hours of ink, and time for some colour to appear. Not sure what Heather is colouring first, but will post some pics when I get home to show exactly how its coming along

Cant wait.
Just choosing a DVD to take with me lol

Hells bells, these tattoo pics make my little Rose look well pathetic, and that hurt like stink

Looking good, I love to see a nice tattoo, and those who don't like then can kiss my butt. Form an orderly queue, please

One of the flowers is VERY 3D tonight, with a nice swelling lol. But very happy with how its turning out. Back in 2 weeks time for some more. Leaves and remainder of the flowers being done.

Working on the next design now

As far as pain goes, I was watching a Clarkson DVD. Cant feel pain or discomfort while watching supercars getting thrashed

It's looking splendid You mad fool All I got was a load of Geordie chat, not good

I'm not sure whether giving birth or having my tatto was more painful. I'll go with the birth, that lasted longer

This has been 5 hours in total so far
They are very pleased with the line work, and the healing, so should be a damn good tat by the time its done

Now the ice is broken for talk in there, the chat is very relaxed, but I just kick back and watch TV, took some DVD's and Phil, the co-owner chose Clarkson to watch lol.

Amazing to see how the image has changed now some gradual colour has been added

As for missed a bit... I get the impression this is gonna take a long time to finish as the design gets extended more and more, so could be a while

i can relate to that, as when i had the dragon on my calf done, it took 3 sessions and approx 9-10 hours. painful when it stretched down to my ankle and upto my shin bone, but knowing your having something engaved on your body youve partially designed yourself, its a good feeling. better than all these chavs who point to a scabby picture in a dingy parlour... "want that one"

Haha totally mate, so nice it was not out of a book, and the same as 19 other people have had

All the other tatto artists, and a couple of customers came in while it was being done, and everyone loved what they saw. Guess I just got nice legs

The discomfort is not terrible, bit of swelling, and keeping lots of cream on it. Always sad when the first scabs peel off, and the colour appears a little duller lol

ah yes, but dont forget the ink penetrates the pigment of the skin, whi is two layers of clear skin down, hence the giant scab. funny thing is on my leg where the tattooist had to shave it thrice for the sittings, the hair only partially grew back, and i have hairy legs makes the tattoo really stand out. all i need now is some burberry and a staffy

I reckon once the collection of colours are all together, even with a little fading of the colour it will look awesome

3.5 hours of line work, but worth every second. No breaks lol.
Finished up at 9pm tonight.

Couple of weeks now and the colour can start, so here are the pics
It looks like an infection that one would expect to get in the trenches

No disrespect, each to their own and live and let live, but I have to wonder about the wiring in the head of anyone who thinks that that is "cool"

I think it would be cheaper and less permanent to get a t-shirt printed that says "I am scummy, insecure and yet slightly creative"...

Oh dear,

Like you say, each to their own. Dont judge me, and I wont judge you
Im sure other people make decisions that I would not agree with. But if we all did the same things, what a boring world it would be.

Just for you though I have had it done where I can cover it up so not to offend the narrow minded

As for the scummy insecure bit.... you really lost me there lol
