I could.... but I want something else there now... a cover up would ruin it too as it would need to be a fair size and pretty bold, we talked over my options and something like a traditional old school rose would cover it, but i want a blank canvas again.

Just after i'd had the birds done, its still all red and bloody. It all looks lopsided, All the pictures of them are lopsided, I don't know how the hell I only stand wonky for photos!

The colours are much brighter now they've settled in, more like the pinky red and turqoise of the stars above.

Not everyones taste... but i love them. Rest of my back will be very sailor jerry/50s/americana/hot rod kinda style, if you can picture that.

Loving the colour stars too, am i right in thinking they are dot work?

My back will be the last thing I do if I do it at all. Shoulders next, once my left thigh if finished lol

 

The stars look out of place, the Lady Luck looks OK, I'd leave that as it suits... what about a full frontal chebbage shot next?

 

The stars will look better once its finished and the background is in there. It's all very bitty and disconnected at the minute so it doesn't look like it will all join up.

And no, no front shots.

It will take me forever to get my back sorted, not had anything done since last December.... damn.

Saying that, my shoulders have been the most painful ones yet, by a long shot. Dunno why like.

 

Most tender spots for me so far have been inner thigh, back of the knee, and side of the foot. None painful as such, just delicate, especially after periods of shading.

I have not had anything on my thigh since about march, of that's what it feels like lol, foot is the current piece I'm finishing. Then onto finishing the thigh.

I know what you mean about taking forever though

 

I think my shoulders were the worst before I wasn't comfortable as she was doing it, I was on the start of flu and just grotty. Probably all added up.
Always hurts me more if I cant see it. I tense up more and i ache more afterwards.
My wrist was a joy, didnt feel it in the sligthest, which is handy as I had the original letter reworked and re coloured a few months after getting it done. White didnt suit my skin at all, looked horrible and dirty so got it coloured over.

Might see if I can get an hour sitting on Saturday if I get the time. Just to get back in the game.

I want my chest doing next but don't fancy sitting in the shop quite so exposed... same with my thighs

There's a difference between being prudey and not wanting the people in the shop and half of Durham walking past the window seeing me sitting with my wabs out getting a tattoo! No one needs to see that sight

Hahaha show off. Im sure a bikini top or something would give suitable cover. Thats what a friend used when she was having her whole back done.

 

Does the shop not have a private booth or get it done after hours.

 

I'm just being a wimpy tart, i'll get it done in the end.

 

I've still got my elbow and inner arm ( bicep up to the armpit ) to get coloured in so am looking forward to that Not!

The one downside is my tattooist fell out with the owner of the shop and has quit but on the up side he will do it from home and it will be half the price!

 

It would be handy if my artist did home work... i can't get to the shop at all when its open or even on their late nights!
