Time for some new ink on ones skin
lol same ere mate, I just cant stop planning now, its become a serious addiction. And an expensive one lol.
You have the same thing as me with the sleeve thing. I have a tribal piece that needs working into the whole thing. Will only go half sleeve at the most, but still in the way.
Everything I have planned now is black and grey, at most with colour highlights.

This is how mine is looking today, now its calmed down a little. Cant wait to get the scabbing part over and done with, and see the truch beneath lol

PS, Bodski I was gonna say the same, thats bloody impressive for just 8 hours.

I cant wait to have more shading done all up the inside of my leg. Its not so much painful as you know, just gets a bit sensitive when they go over the same spot over and over. Especially when its fading colours etc lol.
The thing I love about black and grey is the healing, and watching the depth of the image appear as it calms down and fades slightly.

I am happy holding a conversation while having my chosen areas tattooed to the suprise of some people, mainly tattoo virgins just getting their first piece done lol
Thankfully my genetics are on my side, and god has supplied me with padding lol.
I cant see me having too much torso work to be honest anyway, so will probably escape that part. Missus wants a side piece though, so I wont pre warn her haha.
Had a couple of "SILENCE" moments on my inner thigh, and behind the knee, but wasnt anywhere near agony or anything.
Just hate that tired feeling when the skin has taken a beating for the day.
Slept on the leg fine that evening though. Just waiting on the itching to start now lol
What do you guys use for aftercare anyway?

lol @ the cool wet grass mantra.
Sometimes it just takes a little more focus to take yourself to a happy place.
For evening sessions I could quite easily wear headphones and drop off when im having the outside of the leg done lol.
Always interesting to see how others cope with it.

), and had no fat on my arms at all but by thend of the session I had the biggest bingo wing going
deffo have to be in the right frame of mind; I feel alseep whilst I had my calf done (a couple of hours)...but when I popped in to say hello and ended up having a couple of bits touched up in the same place (literally 10mins work), I was gurning like acid house raver
lol our experiences sound similar.
I had a blood vessel pop when I was having my bicep coloured in, **** me that bruied. Piles cream for my arm, oh the shame lol.
Missus planned on having her foot piece touched in on Saturday, instead heather decided to re do the whole thing lol, she was not prepared for that
I am usually happy and looking forward to my sittings, so easy to find a good place. Plus I dont stop talking, so as long as someone is there to chat to, im coolio.
Cant wait for the next sitting, see that dragon head get some contrast colours

Recon I should of put on 4-5 stone before having the ribs done then!! Bit of extra padding would of been a good idea. 14 stone and 6ft 2 aint gonna offer much protection as the pics show.
Had inner arm done when I had the half sleeve done and that was like being licked by puppies in comparison
Gawd knows why I want the other side done now

Oh and as for aftercare, used Bepanthan for the last 4 i've had done. Back in the old days it was any anteseptic cream but with Bepanthan there's hardly any scabbing at all and seems to help the healing time as well. Wonder who the first person to try nappy rash cream was ???
Only having had two done so far I find it hard to describe what it feels like easily as both of mine were on quite bony parts of my body, all I know is that it stung quite a bit, and the one, down below gave me a twitch leg!
With my first I was told to slap it with preparation h, but the other I was told to use cocoa butter.
The itching it the worst, and ooooooh, the embarrassment of having it itch where I had mine.

lol the repeated going over for the colours is indeed a bitch, I feel your pain, literally lol.
Yeah use a combo of bepanthen and tattoo goo, Tattoo Goo is a lot easier to put on, and handier to carry around at work.
Makes sense to use nappy rash cream, in theory the 2 are very similar.
lol hysteria, what did you have and where?

Na colour doesnt hurt more as such, just the fact that if you have red into yellow, they go over it once with a shader from solid to faded, then go over it again with the next colour, from fade to solid lol. Add a 3rd colour to the equation and they go over it again lol.
Trails, I always let it warm up a bit on my hand before putting it on, or use tattoo goo, if its really sore after the session. very soothing.

what Snazy said, with colour you have to go over the same area again and again, the lighter the colour the more work (layers), required to make it strong
