Those people. The ones wandering around Amsterdam off their faces shouting at each other in Cockney accents. They're not Dutch!

Oh and I filled up with 98 octane super @ 1.23 this morning. Lease includes fuel, so not really my problem.

Its ok quoting petrol prices...But what about average wages of the countries ??

£1.05 a litre is fine if your on £50k a year..But the average wage around these parts is around £17k-£20k i would guess..Of which you must spunk 50% on tax,and another 15-20% on your mortgage/council tax, then road fund liscence and insurance.Food prices and heating prices have risen way above inflation..And these are just the essentials to live..

Actually leaving you **** all for working all week..

Just bought myself an LPG merc.

***** to shelling out 107p a litre. £25 to fill it looks good to me.

Interesting reading but.....

Look at Norway, i've been over here and spoke to people about this.

1.17 is a lot but when you take into account a factory worker earns 15 quid an hour, comparable to wages its a lot less than what we pay!
