£16K will only buy you a R33 .and the only Skyline worth getting is the later R34 gtr

true true!!! i have a type r and if it wasnt for the aound i WOULD have an evo but alas its scoobyu all the way BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!Lol ;-)

cant stand skylines.a mate had a r33 gtr (twin turbo) and it was rubbish imo,slower than my evo.i think the only thing high power skylines are good for is straight line speed but seeing that i dont live on a motor way an evo/scooby will be far quicker on the sort of roads i drive on.plus i need a car with 4 doors as i have kids.

i would go for a 2004 WR1 for around your money, forget the JDM non-burblers for that reason alone.

just to let you all know i have bought my new car and i went for and evo ix (9) fq300 in the end as i managed to come up with some extra cash.thanks for everybody input and at least i learnt a few things about the differant models of scoobys.
