Will probably still go ahead even if there is only 5 of us, the time is more dependant on when my engine is in and running, still hoping to go for the 17th and 18th of april but won't confirm until i know my engine is running, as i then need to put a 1000 miles on it before mapping. Proividing all goes well with the build over the next week or so, it shouldn't be a problem.
I cant wait now, really want that extra power!!!!!

I was always under the impression that if 'another tuner' was to map the car they would require the Dongle.....
I suppose it's a benefit of being Simtek 'approved' ?

Yes.
I have to speak with SimTek to get the profile for your ecu.
Usual situation.. some people was their car mapped by location.. ie. the nearest simtek dealer and others want a particular mapper etc.. just respect between SimTek dealers.. a lot of people are and have travelled a long distance to get it mapped and now there is a dealer nearer or in this case I am coming to the area there should be no issue in mapping it.
A number of cars on various ecu bounce between mappers dependant on time frames and location etc it would be unfair to lock an ecu to a particular mapper, imho

need to sort out a date for this really.. I know we are waiting Deans motor so the date has been put on hold but the nearest time I could do it is getting into late May now as I have bi-weekly commitments already and starting to book traveling job in around that pushes avaiable dates etc..
I expect squeezing a 7th in should be doable.

Looking to fix dates at the end of next week as my new engine should be in and running by then, providing nothing else goes wrong
