GEMS remap £250 (if you have gems ecu already)
Simtek classic £870 or £1000 with antilag
Simtek newage £1100 or £1250 with antilag

2 extra names in the time i've been to work one more needed to make 6 then

I've advertised the GEMS, if it sells for what i paid for it, i'll sell my Apexi AVCR aswell and go Simtek, if not i'll stick with the GEMS, either way i'll be having Anti-lag

It's only IF the GEMS sells, the only real advantage for me is the full duel maps so i can have one for 97RON and one for 99ron+10% Meth+3ml NF.

The GEMS is more than capable for what i need (MAF-less and Anti-lag) so if it doesn't sell then it's no big deal really.

Come on then one more person!!

Just out of curiosity I take it the Simtek price includes the unit and mapping
Simtek is not a name I have heard a lot about, is it a step ahead from the other market leaders ?

Will it fit in a Lotus

Simtek is the ECU of choice at the moment, it hasn't been around that long and there are still new features in development like NOS control, Valet mode and probably a few others. It seems to get excellent reviews from everyone mappers and end users. It seems to be very good value for money when compared to the likes of MOTEC
The price includes the unit, fitting and mapping with 2 seperate maps (hi/lo octane) which is the main reason for me going for it so i can have a map for Tesco99 and one for Tesco99+Methanol+NF Octane Boost

Don't think there one for the Lotus yet, but u never know

And me, don't think it's available just yet, but like the idea of a 3500rpm rev limt on a hidden key switch

Your thinking of giving them as much as that 2500 RPM is plenty

Dean,

Are we still looking at April with the delay on finding car number 6 or is that wishful thinking?

Will probably still go ahead even if there is only 5 of us, the time is more dependant on when my engine is in and running, still hoping to go for the 17th and 18th of april but won't confirm until i know my engine is running, as i then need to put a 1000 miles on it before mapping. Proividing all goes well with the build over the next week or so, it shouldn't be a problem.
