I personally dont see anything wrong with steering people in the correct direction. If you wouldnt leave your own car with them theres nothing wrong with that tbh. Imagine if they blew your engine and it was your daily driver to enable you to get to your work what then? Would they accept responsibity,was it their inexperience which seems not to match their prices.

Businesses best advertisment is word of mouth which is also the worst. From what ive read in this thread and past it a clear dont take your pride and joy to them.

That 22B in EEC website definately was or still is Sean Mc Keevers as per jon44w.com, see this link:

Jon44w.Com Front End - Powered by XMB

The writing on the windscreen defo confirms its Mc Keevers Car Breakers that owned it at one time, maybe not now though??

Correct as usual Paul LOL......it was Andrew that offered me his car, thought that was it in the pics, and couldnt remember his name LOL

I will of course bow to the superior knowledge here that the 22b pictured is Sean McKeevers.......!!!!

As for slating a company on a public forum, personally I wouldnt do it if its a personal gripe. A factual report into dealings with a company IMHO is fair enough as shown by my Donnelly's thread ( just to show I'm not hypocritical ).

Just putting my views forward on the threads direction. If their facts and not hearsay thats fine by me. All I am saying is that threads like this unless 100% factual can damage ANY company or business.

Ur absolutly right Paul, I have posted my experience with them which is 100% fact! Its just a pity that 1 of N I's biggest car modders can make so many mistakes and dont seem 2 put the customer first Reading the other posts on this it seems to be from experience also and not hear say.

Another thing I forgot to mention about them is that I phoned once to get a quote for lowering my car, they said they had a set of tein springs that are for a wrx but they would fit my car, They said around 1.5hrs per corner and £55 per hour that £330 quid just for the labour Then I found out that although the wrx springs would fit they would only lower my car around 5mm if any.

Hi lads im sorry to hear that you have had bad problems with my company.

@big-kev
Sorry but we would never of quoted £1000 for a exhaust we can either supply a genuine HKS system for £535 or our own custom made exhaust with a HKS silent hi power back box with a LIFE TIME WARRENTY and fitted £625 incl vat.

@scubbay
Yes paul there are a few things happening within ECC at the moment but business as usual.

@71/200
I don’t think you would of been quoted £1000 for that job but I obviously cant argue with you as I didn’t quote it my self. Andrew has now resigned as a partner of the company from Tuesday so if you would like anything competitively priced give me or Steven a call anytime as I would hate to loose anyone’s business over a problem with a ex member of staff.

@petedotuk
Pete we are here to help as I said before I can’t dispute the matter with you as I wasn’t there but all I can say is we value your business very much and would like to help you out in the future if you are stuck.

@ulsterscooby
That’s Sean mc keevers

@scubbay
Yes Paul we are by far the biggest tuning company with the fastest times in this country but we are here to also provide a good service to our customers and if anyone has had bad dealings with anyone in the company before im sorry and apologise for it now and hopefully we can sort you out with something in the near future.

@bushiwarrior
With the likes of a standard engine no one knows what abuse it has been through or how it has been serviced or treated. But with any engine that we build spec fit and map we will give 1 Years WARRENTY that’s how much we will stand over our product and workmanship.

@justforinfo
The ecu and all the mapping has been done by ECC.

@petedouk
Our aim is to provide you with the best service possible and as I said before I can only apologise if you have had a bad experience but some things have changed within the company and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need a price of quote and we will price it as competitive as we can.

Thanks
John

@ M2 WRX,

Its good to get a reply explaining that things are changing within your company, Its is reassuring that you have noticed problems and are fixing them. As said before you are biggest car modders in our wee country and u seem to have a striving buisness and im sure there is probably about 10 very happy customers for every 1 unhappy 1.

In my case I felt like it was more sale targets than customer satisfaction.

I wish u all the best with the new shakeup as I love it when any person/company from our wee country goes across the water and beats the big boys on the mainland.

Fair play there John, but you got to understand, got to find out about people before you trust them with my hard earned money and pride and joy, after all reputation is everything. Good luck with the changes, there are needed.

Im sure Sean Mckeever had it at one point.
i know for a fact that sean mckeever had that smashed 22b. i looked round it!!! ive also had a few experiences with ecc. my type-r has a power fc with commander and was mapped for 99ronn. so i took a run up to ecc for a chat. after a short conversation with jonathan..i ended up taking my car to extreme autos in waterford??. there is a portuguese man there by the name of alex, he is a very smart guy and has cars/tunning in his blood. i got my r mapped there with him and i must say i was very impressed. its quite a drive down tho!!!

Looking at all the posts above it's nice to see the NI members on here are able to have a bit of respect for each other and express their views or opinions in an adult manner. As said, the views are actual experience rather than malicious hearsay.

Well done

Damien
