Heated windscreens are available for Scoobies from Ricky Evans Motorsport. Quite reasonably priced too.

A few years ago we had a Ford Focus - frosty mornings no longer began with the tedious ritual of scraping ice from the windscreen. It was brilliant!
We currently drive a newish BMW X3 which came with almost every available option including something called a 'winter pack'. Close to 40K worth of Teutonic efficiency and design excellence. Does it have a heated windscreen? Does it heck! So in this regard and on certain winter days, in truth I wish we still had the Focus.
One - Nil to Ford.
I am currently ambitious to have yet another Scoob on the driveway - I have been four months without one and am beginning to bite my fingernails. But I fully intend to get a heated front screen fitted to it.

My 1990 Ford Granada Ghia had a front heated screen, brilliant bit of kit if expensive to replace if it got cracked. If you looked closely you could make out the tiny thin elements!
