I have seen the results of people assuming they can run their car on anything they like because the stock ecu will take care of it.
It isn't pretty.

yep in an ideal world you do want to stop all nock, however, theres always odd situations where it can happen no mater how well the car is setup, duff fuel is a very good example. Only way to allow for that would be to have a map with a margin so wide you get pretty poor results. Having a system thay can at least drop it back to protect the engine can't be a bad idea at all, so by removing it seems to be bad idea.

As said above seems to be the only thing it lacks, not sure why it hasn;t been sorted tbh.

It doesn't seem to have the control of the engine as well as syvecs, but the price tag for it is a darn sight less and, with active nock control on it, would tick all the box's

I have mapped both, I like both, but unless I was building a money no object track car I would still recommend the SimTek on a value for money basis.

I see the syvecs as one of the main reasons of being able to run a GT30R @ 2 bar on a standard engine and I had a choice between the simtek and syvecs at the time.
good point and defo one of the reasons yours has been so realiable !
