Nothing insulting or nasty..

I took the time to order, they should take the time to explain why my order has been cancelled

Boooooo, they didn't charge my card. Which means I won't get £4 for 30 seconds work

But they did thank me for the order and offer me 7.5% off next time!

7.5% seems a bit of a strange amount.. I wonder how much they will have lost from this little mistake

I dunno, but I have had a bad experience with them in the past, 7.5% is not nearly enough for me to consider going back to them. Thats part of the reason why I wanted a cheap PC...a little pay back for the hassle they caused me would have been great

I got it as well. I got an order to give them for over £900 so the 7.5% can go on a better graphics card. Nice.

Yeah i kind of assumed this myself, the price was a little too convenient, imagine how much traffic they got over the weekend.

If it's a viral campaign, its very clever. Doesn't mean I'll order from them....but top effort.

They got nothing out of me, other than knowing that I still exist and must be buying my stuff from someone else

Been fun reading this thread, last year I found a Epson p3000 photo viewer/media player on e-buyer for £156, retail price then was well over £300, I purchased one and payed via paypal, and my photoghraphy buddy purchased one on his card. Mine arrived next day, I payed extra for next day delivery, his never came, they said they had to honour mine with it being a paypal payment and the funds cleared straight away, so sometimes you can get lucky !!!
