no, it looked awful

Would have been nice to see what crysis looks like, although I did forget to order a monitor so I think I could have still been in the dark

With no OS or Keyboard or Mouse I reckon the price is right ..... PC Prices have tumbled right across the board.

I actually HAVE that case - and believe me - it does look very smart... loads of blue glows in this office

Also very good for cooling as there is this fooking HUGE fan at that top - I also added another one in the side wall to help cool the GTX. Even on full load it never exceeds 30 something.....

Nope - urban myth. When you place the order you are offering to enter a contract, but they are within their rights to refuse that contract. What they cannot do is accept, then charge you a higher price. But they can refuse to sell, or offer you the choice of higher price or no sale.

There is no way you will get that pc as the nvidia 8800gtx is around £300 on its own. On everysite before you purchase anything you have to click that you agree to their terms and conditions!! It will have all the get out of jail free clause's in there You may even have to pay full whack

So in their t&c's they can have:

"once you have decided on a sale and clicked purchase giving us your credit card detail, we can in fact then increase the price without asking you!!! so bend over!!!"

If they take the money from your card the contract is binding.

If any of their contract terms are outside the boundaries of the Distance Selling Regs & the Sales of goods act (NOT in the customers favour) - they will not stand.

Order Status: Cancelled and refunded

Oh well.

(if they actually took from my card and refunded, I'll get 1% of price cashback - just off to check!)

Yes, mine is cancelled and refunded. I would have expected an email to say that though as opposed to me having to login to check ...
