Oh dear, SN is full of Heavy metal loving, Snake owning, long Haired social inepts who hang round in the Games Workshop !
I never got it myself and I am a prime candidate, male, work in IT and not averse to the geekiers side of life, however I got invited once at college to a mate's, he was a pretty cool guy so I thought it sounded fun but I got kicked out by the real geeks for arsing about.
I sit at work surrounded by WOW and Vanguard players with a splash of Warhammer and all day they talk about raiding, guilds, Orks and stuff like that, its like in Alien when they found the place where the Queen was, I have found the Geek Mothership.
My kids buy Warhammer, or rather we do, they build it and sometimes pretty well and then it sits around loosing bits all over the house, the minutes one of them asks for a Snake as a pet its all getting binned.

I dunno.. I don't have long hair.
I used to play it when I was younger, and have a glance at the model displays when I walk past because they look cool.
As far as kids playing it - its a fairly harmless hobby and gets the brain ticking. Would think parents would rather their kids do this than many other things they could be getting upto?

Loads of my mates were into it at school, but i never really did.
As far as I got was buying "Space Hulk" and the add-on "Deathwing", played it half a dozen times and never played it again. Never even painted the minitures
Hang on......I think it's still sitting in my loft....mint condition.

He is very good.
Do you know how much they are worth. I've seen mint 2nd release Space Hulk for over £100.
Seen all three for £200 before now.
I played Space Hulk, Blood Bowl, Epic and a bit of 40K.
I play Dawn of War loads and have all the expansions and looking forward to Soul Storm.
Got loads of books too. Horus Heresy, Soul Drinkers, Ultramarine Omnibus etc etc.
