ST, that's poo news indeed!! Had you taken the other car on the drive though she couldn't have done any damage. She'd have just found herself passing cleanly through the passenger side.

Still, it's too late now, hindsight and all that.

Keep on plugging.

Sorry to hear about this latest development mate I didn't think for one minute she had genuinely lost the passports and birth certificates because you would guard those with your life.

With behaviour like that she doesn't sound fit to be looking after the boys, what is that teaching them? It isn't right to go around hitting people, abusing people & damaging property so what kind of example is she setting them

I don't blame you for kicking her car, I know it's not right but in the heat of the moment and faced with that kind of attitude and abuse I think you handled it very well and set a good example. I am glad the Police arrived and noted down what had happened and I don't think it's stacking up well in her favour if you wanted to contest custody of the boys.

If she decides to show her face at the weekend I don't think she will be welcome I would be very surprised if she did so and I would have something to say to her

So what is next regarding the holiday? Is there anything you an do legally to obtain the passports? I'd be offering the boys a "reward" for finding them

If you fancy a drink and a chat later you know where I am

prob been asnwered somewhere in this short thread but you need to have your kids stay overnight for 3 or more nights per week EVERY week to claim a reduction in your payments.
Been there, and got the tee-shirt

If she re-marries doesn't her maintenance stop ?
Nope she can marry a millionaire but you still have to cough up

If you have any more kids the amount of maintenance to her may drop too, not sure if you regularly buy them clothes etc you may get a reduction too
If you then remarry or live with another partner and have children there needs are take into consideration first, but beware if your new wife/partner works they will also take that into acct and you may end up paying MORE than before as they look at her income and add a little bit of yours to it thus making more of your hard earned money available for your ex .....

Jeusfukcingchristalmighty its wonder you aint killed her.

I wouldn't have a clue what to do if my ex started going off like this.

Shouldn't she be safely tucked away somewhere under lock and key.

I really hope she see's sense and lets you take your boys on holiday.

I was worried sick last night when Swiss did not get home at the normal time! I was hoping he had popped to the shops then time ticked on and on!

He came home and he was so calm! I wanted to hit the psycho and her dad for what they had done to him and his car!

10 out of 10 goes to you Swiss for the way you handled yourself yesterday and making sure I was ok today!

I was so upset last night thinking of you having to go through that! The poor boys too!

The psycho needs help as that behaviour is not right! It is no good for the poor kids! I feel so sorry for them having to live with her! How dare she tar me with the same brush as her!

I know it's tough, and it's sooooooooooooooooo tempting sometimes, but be proud of yourself for not bringing yourself down to her level. At least you can sleep at night and know that you haven't behaved like some awful harridan!

As long as the boys have some semblance of normality and stability when they're with you and Swiss. Hang in there..........it will all sort itself out eventually (even if Swiss does have to **** her with a shovel and bury her under the patio..........not yours, obviously........you wouldn't want her coming back to haunt you! )

Brilliant! Not thought of that! Chris did mention that too!

I would never stoop to her level (very tempted though)! I am too much of a wimp!

Can you believe the cheek of the woman who swears for england and rants and shouts on front of her children, said to Chris last night "tell your girlfriend to watch her language in front of "my" children"! I called someone on the Wii who was doing my nut in a "f*****g b***h" ONCE!!!!!! SHE is the one who calls me and Swiss every name under the sun in front of "her" children! God I hate her!

I don't think I've ventured to comment on here yet but....

what a complete psychotic bitch! Your poor boys having to see that kind of abusive behaviour towards their father.. is she mental?? She needs to get her self sorted, and go on some sort of anger management counselling, as well as a Wine bottle Mountain/Liars Anonymous course.

I'm even more appalled that the grandfather waded in too...he should have been trying to defuse the situation not adding to it..not exactly grandfathererly actions, are they?

I can understand you retaliating in kind, really I can, but be careful not to do that too often as such actions can come back and bite you on the bum, as they inevitably do

I really feel for you & your kids, Chris. I hope they weren't witness to all this.....

P.S when you go to see her in future to pick the boys up , can't you carry a dictaphone or something so you can get her in full foul mouthed rant??

May I just say a big BIG thank you to all of you who have commented on this thread. I wasnt fishing for sympathy or anything like that, it was simply meant to be an update to my unfortunate situation for those who have been following the original question.

I, never for one, thought that this would have esculated into something so horrible and painful as it has, but since I was married to her for a number of years, I guess I should have known better. Anyway I popped into the local police station last night to make them aware of her threats and to advise them that I am concerned about the safety of zoe and our little one. The claymore mines at the entrance to the driveway are in place and I am just making the final preparations to the machine gun nest and sweeping searchlights later this morning ( some great offers on Homeland security at FocusDIY this week )

As for the dent, well I am sure I can get that sorted, it is only a car after all, just more of a pain than anything else especially as I take such pride in keeping it looking clean..oh well I am used to that. years ago when we were married, she actually launched herself onto my bonnet and sat there trying to rip off my windscren wipers whilst I sat there in the car

I will update the thread when I get some news on the passports.

Cheers once again, all your comments have certainly cheered me up

Unbelievable behaviour - and by that I mean you Swiss! You are keeping very calm which is probably much better for your blood pressure and helps keep a lid on the anger and stress in dealing with this idiotic selfish behaviour.

Have the kids said anything about how its affecting them? What an awful role model she is.

I hope to god it is not affecting them! The youngest said he is very angry with his mummy and daddy for kicking the cars but then ran off to the house! I gave them a new plane to build to take their minds off it!

She is a terrible role model and I did say to Swiss I wonder how they would be if he was not in their lives?!!!!!!
