Electric windows?
I'm sure there is more, but that will do for starters

What else can lose weight? Hmmmm.

And can I get the starret cutters out on the body panels?

What you need is a nice BMW to get to the airport in, I'll try to think of one that's not being used at present.
you keep your cutters away....!!
i must admit the radio is 3 clicks from full and i still struggle to hear it!!!

Electric to manual won't make that much difference...

Aircon pump comes off on saturday, along with front pump and dryer... condesor will have to stay, as it's behind the glovebox that we can't open now!!!

Plus on top of all of that... i've run out of dosh!!!! especialy as an unexpected bill came in today!!

Lol.
It was nearly sold last week mate... Was looking @ Cossies etc. Fired her up and took it for a big 100 mile "kick the granny out of it" drive which soon rekindled some love for the old girl.

I am still saving/buying more parts for it. Got a group A breather coming this week that will require some careful mods to fit. Need to buy more parts, fabricate a new catch tank and battery tray for the diddy battery.
Hopefully get my seat in soon too. Need to weld up my rails for it to fit.

Also need to paint my other bumper so I can get my FMIC on.

Got another set of HIDs to fit too.

Lol. Plenty to keep me busy and it needs a proper wash too. lol.

Well some good progress made again today, although not quite what i planned....

The air-con proved too difficult in the end... i thought it was just 2 bolts on the compressor, but goes to show how little i know!!!!! Didn't quite work out exactly what had to be done to get it off, but i@m sure I'll work it out....

Did get the EDFC (electronic damper force control) changed and i now have suspension control again!!! the wires under the rear seat had been cut and this had shorted out the head unit, but all is OK now with a new head unit..

Also got the gauges mounted again with a cheap and cheerful eBay purchase.

Next was replacing these standard 1 pot rears....

To these nice Brembo STI 2 pot rears....

Yes i know i won't win any show and shine with my wheels.. but just goes to show the damage that can be done with DS3000's..

Well with the rear callipers changed, i could change the pads all round to something a little more to my liking.
So Pagids 29 Yellows on the rear (a nice endurance race pad. Application: All endurance racing cars from group N (Speed-WC, Grand Am Cup), Group A up to GT and Sport-Prototypes (Grand Am DP). )
Pagid 15 Greys on the front (a high friction race pad. Although the RS15 has a good controllability and release characteristic it needs finesse to avoid over braking the car, especially with lightweight cars or cars with boosted brakes. Applications: Touring cars, Rally cars (tarmac), GT cars, WSC, high down-force single-seater's, NASCAR.)
And initial thoughts after a short run, prior to bedding in fully, is that the car stops way quicker than I'm used to and will be awesome, although the whiplash will get tiring after a while.

OK so I managed to strip out the AC compressor and radiator...

Which has left a nice big hole in the engine bay

And I've managed to save a whole 9Kgs

Junk the battery for a little one like mine fella.

The OEM item is approx 16kg, my Odessey is only 6kg. Easy weight loss i think you'll agree

I agree Frayz, but as it sits at the airport every week for 4/5 days at a time, a racing battery won't hold the charge long enough.....
the next option is to change at an event.... hmm

I think the Odessey will discharge at a slower rate than that of a normal battery. Its a sealed gas type unit.

PM BOB5 as he stocks them.
