Completely untrue, and a widespread urban myth.

I've used Google maps (OK, not the most accurate - but it'll do) to determine the distance from the Zoons Court roundabout - where it enters the dual carriageway, past the sign - to the 2nd bridge of the J11a roundabout (Valiant Way, etc. - which is the last discernible point that you see the bike go through in continuous video). This distance is just 0.8miles (if I move the end marker back a hundred yards or so it tells me it's 0.7 miles, so it's pretty much spot on 0.8 miles).

So - he covers 0.8 miles in - and I've timed it - 29.05s or there abouts.

Which equates to an overall average speed of 99.3mph.

Now... doing it once again, but this time just using the "quick" section...

I measured the distance from the first bridge he goes under (11a exit to 417 south) to the 2nd bridge of the J11a roundabout (Valiant Way, etc.) again. This time, using the 'moving the start point one way and then the other' technique the bridge is about half way between two tenth mile changes... so distance is estimated at 0.45 miles.

So - he covers the quick part of 0.45 miles in - obviously timed again - 9.8s

Which equates to an average 'quick' speed over that half mile of 165.3 mph

Bloody madness....
Your not sad, you just have too much time on your hands

(does your therapist say this to you as well? )

I did not realise it was turocharged or that is has 450 BHP. That is quite amazing and not surprised it was spinning the wheel either. It must have a vicious power band as well the way the wheel was spinning so rapidly.

Not quite the machine for the road I reckon!

Trouble with all that power is keeping the front wheel down ! Check this video of a 499bhp turbocharged Hayabusa. Yep, 499bhp. On the back wheel.

The cameraman is doing about 160mph when the 'busa sails past him on the back wheel as though he's stood still !
