I read yesterday that Rockstar have scrapped that idea anyway, so there won't be any Xbox exclusive content anymore, apparently mainly due to missed deadlines and not enough time to sort it out and the fact they didn't want it to be exclusive to Xbox. Just what I read. 
Thats simply not true. The 360 will be getting 2 exclusive GTA4 episodes, one scheduled for Fall 2008 and one for 2009. There was a rumoured third episode, which proved to be untrue, caused by Take-Two's confusing date shifting.
Episodic contents sucks IMO, if you're still producing the game then put the damn content in it now, don't make us pay extra for it

Sman & Max and Half life worked out pretty well - Obviously they were priced competitively.
With GTA IV however, i suspect they will effectively be "expansion packs" offering new missions and vehicles.
