Phil Ray, the "official" Jon44w photographer is going to try and arrange to be there at the start and finish of the event, and I believe Luke from Cruisnig will also be tagging along somewhere.....

Probably OTT but would it be worth emailing or contacting Plum regarding the run???
Maybe not interested enough but worth a shot even as filler for a show some night. Not that his programms are packed enough.

Wished they lasted longer some nights, specially the national stages

This is a REALLY good idea, might be a bit late right enough, and I wouldnt have any contact details for him, but if there is anyone on the site with an inside contact feel free, any publicity has to be more than welcomed

Might be able to help. My boss does camera work for RPM. I will ask him to inquire if Plum would be interested.

We will be refueling at your station mate.
Theres about 20 of us here in antrim and we have been banging our heads against a brick wall trying to get a steady supply of sul, on average there is only ever 1 pump in operation and only for 2 days each week at this Texaco station.
I have previously contacted Texaco and was referred to the station manager
I went in today to have a chat with the manager as he hadn't replied to any of my phone calls or emails about the hit and miss nature of his sul supply.
He told me that it wasn't popular so he never stocked alot.

I then mentioned the possibility of 100+ performance cars looking for fuel on Sunday and he made a phone call and arranged to have 6000 ltrs delivered.

Looks like we will have a bit of fuel to keep us going here in Antrim for a wee while.

AFAIK, the fuel stop has been arranged for Murray Cars as discussed already on this thread..........Think Rob and the Antrim guys have used their heads here to get what they want for the long days after the run......dangled the performance car carrot in front of the Texaco manager and it has worked for them..fair play

TBH I know this wasnt done to take business away from Paul, and I will be refuelling @ Murray Cars as promised.........The detailed outline of route still has Murrays as the highlighted fuel stop and most will be doing this as part of their plan I would think.........

Good news

After discussing the tribute with my boss(camera person for RPM) he was so impressed, he emailed Plum directly and offered to do the camerawork foc. RPM have just responded, and they will include the 'run' in the Cork 20 program, as all the cars had carried tribute stickers.

Time to wash and polish the car!!!

Can I just confirm, on behalf of my boss.
McDonalds car park @ Sprucefield.
I remember the Lurgan Park run, there was some confusion.

I have nicked (sorry, taken temporary loan of) an HD camcorder from work, depending on how well Mrs Tarmac Terror can use the camera we may have some footage to remember the day by.
