Say nothing bout the STI's the law are on here LMAO....as for the stickers, my mate up @ Vinyl Touch in Coleraine can design anything we need, there will be a small cost involved, as I dont expect him to do it for free and dont have the business contacts for sponsorship that Murray Cars had last weekend unfortunately, but hopefully keep it below £5 a car .....

Any more opinions or just the standard "proper" rally car rear side window decals with Scotland flag OK for everyone?

There was no sponsership involved lads. Murraycars was founded and run by myself and as a gesture Iwill put £100 in the pot to help reduce the costing to genuine fans for the stickers with the Scottish flags.
This is the way I wanted to do it but didnt have the time!

If you have the decency to sponsor this run to the tune of £100, mate it would berude not to include your garage as one of the refuelling stops, and as it is about half way round the proposed new route it sounds perfect.......Thanks for the gesture, its greatly appreciated..............thats what the scooby community is all about folks, supporting each others events and interests and trying to pass on the knowledge and experiences...#

wher abouts is ur garage? i dont mind payin 4 the stickers but its fantastic that u would put £100 forward. i think the rally stickers would b perfect. we would get these on starting the run at sprucefield then? will we have any problems from the police? neways we should all b fine as long as were all legal!

Stickers will be made up and distributed to all those at the start @ Sprucefield.....any cars meeting up later in the run will also be given the stickers when they show up.......As for the police, the paperwork is being completed as we speak for the " Parades Comission"......this applies to all forms of parade whether a sponsored bed push right through to convoys and the better known bands and marches...will keep you all updated

All righty folks.....please find the proposed route as below......I know its not going to keep everyone happy, but as said before this is being planned as a "lap of honour" touching all six counties and at the same time trying to keep the mileage and the dreaded fuel bills to a minimum, whilst still giving a good drive out.......The time constraints are such that I have to have the paperwork submitted pretty much straight away, and as there hasnt been that much objection so far here goes nothing..........

Meet @ Sprucefield 0930 Sunday 14th October 2007.....Leaving 1000am SHARP

Sprucefield to Junction 1 Antrim...Arriving 1045am....Leaving 1115am
Junction 1 Antrim to Murray Cars Magherafelt....Arriving 1200noon (refreshements available and 1st fuel stop if required....) Leaving 1230pm
Murray Cars to Cookstown...NO STOP
Cookstown to Enniskillen....Arriving 1400/1430...LUNCH....Leaving 1530pm
Enniskillen to Armagh Arriving 1630ish....2nd Fuel Stop...Leaving 1700pm
Armagh to Sprucefield, via Banbridge......Arriving 1800pm.......

This will be a full day run, but with plenty of stops for breaks, fuel and refreshments etc....At the end, if you fancy a trip down to Bangor on the sunday night, I'm sure Bangorcruise and Rocko would be more than happy to see us arrive in style.............

The timetable is fairly strict, but this means that if someone cant make one of the points, they can head directly to the next meeting point and find us OK

Would have to stress again that this is not a race ffs, but a MEMORIAL run and as such "proper" driving would be appreciated....as said before the paperwork will have to be lodged with the PSNI and the route details will also have to be submitted for approval..........I dont forsee any problems with this as it is not a contentious type of parade, but it will mean that each region are aware of the event and can police this event in their own way...........

Coleraine and further north have been missed out to keep the overall distance down quite a few of us will be at the start and finish of this run and we will be clocking up a fair few miles.

There will be lots of way points for refreshments etc I personally will have my 2 daughters traveling with me.

Give the kids a good day out lol
