He had reportedly asked for £120 000 per week. Ferdinand claimed that his commitment to United was never in question.
The key word in that sentence is reportedly, which translates as made up by the media because they have no real source

Fair play to you boys you must have spent some time digging that out, must have been important and at least it clears up the confusion over wether it was 110K or 120K, we'll all sleep better at night now

Shame you had to drag the Ole appreciation thread down in to the gutter

always thought he wa a player who never fulfilled his potential, nor had any ambition, seemed happy to be a bench warmer.

Are you joking!!!

Have you never wondered how he could just step off the bench and create something as soon as he came on? He was a very clinical player who was a lot more than a bench warmer.

I think he had a lot of ambition, else he would have retired when his knee first went.

I don't think we'll ever see a player like him again. He was much much more than a bench warmer.

He only warmed the bench for a few seasons not all of them.
