PS3 has got more at this stage of its life than the 360 had, think I spent the whole of my first twelve months in either PGR3 or GRAW...
First 12 months of a console's life is usually pretty bleak - the 360's software line-up is really starting to shine, BioShock now out, Halo 3, PGR4, Half Life 2 Orange Box & Burnout Paradise all out by Chrimbo.

It's always the same.
After launch it took MS 258 days to release the next game for 360 in Europe.

Are you sure? I remember playing PGR3, GRAW, Condemned, Kameo, Amped, Oblivion and (I think) COD2 all in the first year of the 360...

I think if you count them up the PS3 has more, granted though that most are already on the 360... and only 3 of the current batch interest me, 2 of which I already have.
The lack of AAA exclusive titles is whats letting it down at the moment - MGS & GT5 can't came soon enough for it. Looking forward to Ratchet & Clank personally, but don't seeing that shifting many consoles on it's own.

Unfortunately it's looking like both GT5 and MGS are going to be in the latter half of next year at the earliest.
The point is Pete, that the 360 did have a decent lineup of games in the first year. I'm struggling to see anything on the ps3 (apart from games I've already played and finished on the 360) that hold any interest at all, and I think that is the main reason why it hasn't been flying off the shelves like people were expecting. It needs some AAA titles desperately...
