What BHP and torque figures did you get with the Delta remap?
Cheers J Sca.
305/301 on DeltaDash. I thought the same as you re figures initially, but in fact the car IS great to drive. Best thing is the spritely spool yet with better top end than std turbo
but if he would of bought a sti ,,with the cash hes spent he would be 400 bhp + by now
stu
Maybe's aye but maybe's no... I would have had to spend a couple more thousand to buy an Sti rather than a WRX. Would have still wanted decat, remap, Whiteline ARB, Prodrive springs, Pagid pads etc and wouldn't have had enough cash left for any more.
I think the main benefit from where I am now and spending the same amount in total would have been tougher bits in the first place (gearbox etc), so ultimately more can be done to the car.
Ahh, hindsight's a great thing - actually when I bought the Scoob I didn't plan to do anything at all to it. I blame this darned website !!
I do however know when you started dabbling in open source mapping and that you were asking some very basic questions not so very long ago
Andy I remember this well, I actually asked if anyone could confirm my findings with the maximum load scales in the ECU - this was back in the day when the software I used was all manual in that to make changes to the load scales required the binary to be edited rather than using the GUI.
I fully understood that editing certain other values within the ECU would provide more headroom but requested confirmation of the maximum load scale only.
I do often wonder what get's posted on the private Ecutek forums though
BTW my daily driver/development vehicle is, and has been a JDM STi Impreza since 2004.
