I didn't do Facebook either mate,signed up solely for the club.
I'll get dates up for you in a bit as I'm at work now.

 

I won't get facebook for a club lol. It is sad that no one can communicate events etc outside of facebook!

Will keep an eye out as definitely interested in the rr day. Will there be prizes etc? Or is it just for fun? Or even some drive outs etc! Mot is happening later on today

Trouble is if we ran the club over numerous forums etc, it would take all day every day and get too confusing with numbers, money etc etc. We have nearly 350 members after 4 months and run this totally voluntarily in our spare time. So we just keep it to 1 central contact point. After saying that, we do have members on here regularly so between us, we will attempt to keep this updated with events etc. We also have close links with Truro District Motor Club, so cross publicise and have cross members.

Ok, so for the rest of this year we have :-

5th October - Regular Club meet at scoobybits 10am-12am then a drive out to be decided on the day (included bacon ...... mmmmmm bacon :-)

11th Oct - unsure if this will run - TDMC organised trip to Prodrive factory.

19th October - Dyno day at Engine Tuner there will be trophies on the day for Alans fave, closest bhp guess to actual bhp, and caouple of others as yet to be decided. This is £30 to be paid by 10th Oct.

2nd November -Regular Club meet at scoobybits 10am-12am then a drive out to be decided on the day

1st December - Christmas Lunch at Godolphin Arms, Newquay. Drive out in the morning, to arrive at 2pm for lunch, speakers and raffle with proceeds of the raffle going to CLIC Sargent.

That's it so far, along with reg meets each month next year we are planning on Japfest, Wadebridge Wheels, Meet on Beach and more still to be decided.

One of our female members will be heading up to Dakota (pretty sure its 12th Oct, as Martyn couldn't do the rr day then) in her black blob eye. We wont be going as a club though, things happened during the summer which meant we haven't managed to get as much done as we'd hoped. I will start another thread in the South West section here later for the club (great Idea JPascoe), to try to keep things uptodate and bring more club members through too. For payments, my wife and I deal with it, so its cash or cheques to us or to the club paypal (again, this keeps things centralised). Feel free to PM me any time mate. We are hoping next year will see the club grow even more!!
