Wide arch, 400+bhp Newage rebuild...For the road :)
Also what did happen to the car to cause the reason for the recent work on it? I couldnt read/see a mention although I did see a pic in another post somewhere but it didnt highlight the amount of damage nor pictured.
Out of curiosity what prices ranges are a full re-spary for a newage these days, just curious for the future soon as your only up the road so to speak.
Rob
Its nice to see Neil, keep it up mate, loving the whole aspect of the thread with the details, banter, pics, regular updates and the fact your doing it all pretty much yourself.

Prices of repaints are as long as a price of string.
I'd rather not go into it on here, as I'm not an authorised trader, and don't want to risk my membership.

Neil
That's one job I hate is pricing,it's very hard to get it right most of the time.
I don't think there is a paint shop Trader on here so it cant rock up a **** storm lol
Questions for Neil and Ryan, if I wanted day the odd door painting, what's colour matching like these days? I had a 20 yr old Renault Alpine which was fibre glass, both doors blistered so getting it resprayed was going to be a pain, ie colour match with age and the non baking, anyway it came out a treat and the colour was almost perfect.

I doesn't matter whether there is any paint shops on here, the issue is that as a self employed person (me) I cannot actively promote my business, or sell any goods that may be for profit.
I have had discussions with Kieran, and understand and accept the terms of Scoobynet.
I could easily become an authorised trader, and I'm still thinking of it, but right now I feel like I don't need to.

Best of luck with the car, and I take it you intend on competing in sprints with it in 2012?
Rob
Yup, planning on doing Elvington events if they go ahead, and if funds / time allow, there are talks of a sprint series to be run alongside the MLR series which I fancy a pop at.
OMG
I thought you couldn't improve on an already perfect car, but you've shown me otherwise
That engine bay is gonna look schweeet
Glad you've seen sense and decided to keep. Pleeeaaaasssse tell me its going to stay as a blobeye though

Yup, whites been done to death. Its just a trend thing, much like the matte colours floating around. Im thinking Porsche seal grey, with either some crazy offset JDM rims in maybe a candy teal or purple or go VAG classy and some Polished BBS LMs.
I think classy is the way forward with a super clean build Neil

You lot aren't helping much...

I think White is a colour that has kind of had its day in terms of 'trends', but will always be a good colour for Scoobs, especially track based cars.
Managed to get the bulkhead finished and into primer today, but forgot my camera.
but' I'll get some tomorrow.
Definately need to decide on a colour soon though, even if it is just for the engine bay.

I have been thinking a matte metallic grey bizarrly enough, lol.
Rob, there are plenty of normal blobs for sale ranging from £6k to £8.5k.
This as a complete car even in basic STi spec would be above that.
It really depends what sort of car they're after.
