The temptation is there Frayz, believe me.

At the moment I am using 73mm ID tubing, and Andrew C reckons 76mm should be adequate to make the most of my set up.

FYI, I am still on an in tank pump, (next one up from a 255, but not bosch 044), and my injectors are at 80%.

I don't wish to get involved with a complex fuel system to be honest, so the pump/injector set up will ultimately be my limiting factor.

I think the inevitable will happen though..

You can mount a 044 in tank though cant you mate?

I'll be going blow-thru on my 30R too and will probably put it in 76mm ID pipe. Hopefully that should cope.

Do you have any pictures of the MD321V? I would just like to see it size wise vs my 30R... just out of interest really

I've just read all 662 posts in ther last few hours at work. Time not wasted as this has got to be one of the nicest impreza's i've ever seen.

If only I had the time, money, patience, skill, and *****, I would love to take on a project similar, Well done.

Just wondering though, was the original damage recorded?

Hi Frayz,

I could mount a 044 in tank yes.

76mm pipework should be fine. I got 449 bhp on Prosports rolling road with the V, compared to 430 with the T, on my pipework, running 1.6 flat.

I have no pics of the 321V, but it is identical to the other 321 variants.

Thanks for the comments.
The original damage wasn't recorded, and as such the HPi report is all clear, although I would never hide the damage to the car as and when I sell it.

Cheers Jon.

The Recaros's are a far better seat than std oem jobbies for sure.

Nice results there Neil.

Keep us posted on any future progress.

Interesting that you made 449bhp @ 1.6bar flat on the V. If i remember correctly the T was reported to easily make 450bhp @ 1.5bar... something i have never actually seen.

So are you tempted to wind the V up a little now?

My mapping person Andrew C, reckons there is more to come out of the V yet Frayz, and as the car is now, it would probably yeild 460 ish on a DD dyno.
A rolling road session is planned for the near future.

In the interests of reliability, I will probably leave it at 1.6 for now, possibly...

I am now also going to spend some time on suspension and brakes. as i am not entirely happy with them to be honest.

Few quick updates..

Ditched the carbon bonnet vent, and fabricated my own from scratch, which now sits flush in the bonnet, rather than 'on' the bonnet, just seen here..

New wheels, WORKS XT7's, 9.5" wide..

New front splitter, in prototype stage..

Car sits kinda nice with these on I think...

Still looks stunning Neil. However, for the first time in looking at pics of your car, i have found something that would irritate the carp out of me

The rear doors, the little arch sick on bit, doesnt match the width of the similar piece on the rear quarter. Hope that makes sense, and hope you dont take offence.

You at TOTB again? If so maybe try have a better look at it than sat at the side of you in the queue to get in

LOL, no offence, I actually know what you mean Steven.

What it actually is, is the original line of the rear arch/door shut line, which is lost with this arch kit.
The idea was to try and re-introduce this back onto the car. (if you look at an STi9/10 you should see what I mean)

In person the step up from thin to thick is more fluent.

I'll be at TOTB, but not in the car unfortunately.

Cheers for the comments chaps.

Regarding the bonnet vent, I made just the one for my car, but if enough peeps are interested, then I may look into getting some made.

I shall try and get some better pics up of it.
