Forza 2 Scoobynet Championship Racing

I played with the diff settings - amongst other things - to get some lift off and power oversteer, seemed to work. I'll try to hit some obscure track and get a Top 100 so the settings are available.

I think I have a top 100 time on Mugello long circuit if anyone wants my super twitchy power off/on oversteer understeer combo that works for me
or try the B class races in the regional section I'm bound to have a few near the top on those ones

Turn 10 has revealed that it has lots of downloadable content up its sleeve.
As part of the latest Forza Motorsport Pit Pass report, Che Chou has revealed that Forza Motorsport 2 players can expect to see a series of car and track packs released from August onwards.
Che also notes that a Forza 2 auto update should now be downloading when you boot up the game. If you play on LIVE then you're going to have to install the patch or else you can say goodbye to online racing.

Pfffft not specific details then!
Forza 1 had SO many extra tracks over Forza 2.
Space on the DVD issues aside, this is the one area that Live Market place is detremental to the end user, hold stuff back and release it as DLC that they can charge extra for!

...shortly before binning it
Was good to get on with you chaps last night, although my car modding skills leave a lot to be desired, coupled with me having a 'mare of night all round meant I was getting thumped left right & centre - I blame spending too much time trying to get that last achievement on PGR...

Do you have any NAT restrictions on your side of things ? I've seen a few people have trouble getting into games on Forza but most of them had a moderate NAT setting.
oh and you can't hotlink pictures from the forza site you'll need to upload them to photobucket or your own webspace..

Hi YIM,
Yeah I sent you a few invites not sure what went wrong...? Your messages were coming through during the race...
Were we playing bumper cars last night...? I kept getting pole position (was it sorted by the slowest???) and used as a rolling brake on the first turn...
Still was good fun though, must work out how to get this car properly set up for the course
Richard

Neanderthal, thanks for sorting my logo's last night.
I did a load of friend requests last night and managed to post a decent time after a lot of practice, but then couldn't get near it - Kept crashing chasing my ghost! Doesn't bode well for racing!

YIM, it sounds like the problems I had. There's a thread on here linking to a xbox port setup guide (being a boggo Scoobynet member I can't search for it). Once I'd followed that all my joining woes were gone

Are you guy going to kick the championship off soon ? Not playing at the moment I'd imagine that a couple are running off into the distance. Really wanted to know if the handicap system is going to work ?

Someone needs to set a time and date. Probably best if we choose another track for the racing itself as we've all been playing Maple Valley Reverse, jolly good fun it is too. Either that or bugger the championship and lets just carry on playing bumper cars.

I think the handicap system could work but the drop in PI should be greater cause a drop of 10 won't be enough to make a difference.
I really want to get on to have some races but home life at the mo means I only get snippets of time to get on and it's usually a lot eariler than most get on

Thats the best suggestion so far Just being able to log on and see who is on and jump in for a few races is excellent fun Trying to arrange a date and time for everyone to make is going to be near on impossible.
