Yes: Curb in October.
You can take Burn's slot?
I will be confirming with Powerstation about Curtis at least attending.

For the full day a max of 10 cars are allowed. The £450 cost is split by those who committ to the day.

This is a great way to get the suspension sorted.

Once everything is confirmed (the date is) I will advise everyone this coming week.

Graham.

OK:
THIS DAY IS DEFINITLY ON!

SPOKE TO CURTIS TODAY AND ALL IS COOL WITH HIM FOR THE 9 TH OCTOBER.

TO RECAP:

THE COST IS £450 FOR THE FULL DAY, AND ONLY 10 MAX CARS ARE ALLOWED UNDER THE RULES.

THERE IS FULL HARD STANDING AT THIS VERY WELL USED TRACK SO BRING AN ESI-UP AND SUCHLIKE FOR COMFORT.

CURTIS WILL BE ON HAND TO ADVISE. IF HE SWINGS A SPANNER SO BE IT!

I NEED YOU TO STATE IF THIS IS DEFINITLY YOU ATTENDING.
I HAVE 2 HILLCLIMB CARS COMING, A 700BHP AUDI V8 TWIN TURBO AND A FAST EVO8 @ 440.

PLEASE PLACE YOUR NAME HERE. I AM TRUSTING EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY ARE COMING TO ACTUALLY ARRIVE WITH THE MONEY IN POCKET!

OBVIOUSLY 450 /10CARS = 45 EACH PLUS A DRINK FOR CURTIS I HOPE FROM EACH.

I HOPE TO HAVE SOLD MY IMPREZA BY THEN, SO I MIGHT BE THE STOPWATCH KING ON THE DAY! (OR I MIGHT CHEAT AND BRING THE 911 TO ADD SOME MORE VARIETY).
AST SYSTEMS ONLY REMEMBER AND YOUR EXHAUSTS MUST BE REASONABLE!

Graham.

THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THIS KIND OF TESTING, AND SOME DISIPLIN WILL BE NEEDED TO ENSURE ALL GET A FAIR SHOT AT THE DAY.

100dB would be a good max. If you pass an MoT or trackday test you will be ok.

Question Photographs/Videos for Scoobynet?

Graham

Could I come along to take some pictures and short videos?

Would be good for other Scoobynetters to see what you got up to - good or bad idea?

Richard

PS With my new API sunstrip I will uncatchable on the 29th/30th September

Post How to move fwd..

Hi Graham,

Would be interested in this, feel I could push the chassis even further, aside from that it would be a chance to evaluate what has been done so far..

Heads-up reminder!

This is still ON!

9 October, Curtis is coming up from Powerstation and some of his customer cars too. Someone else (Richard) is coming along with vid/camera.

I will pm you all when I'm back from Hols which is 1 October 07.

It will be a blast, and if it goes well i might try to do it as a regular day in 2008

Graham.

I'm still miffed that I am away for this,It would have been perfect for me to learn more about my AST setup.
Graham how about you help me with a bit of setting up and I'll carry on trying to get you to uprate your engine and turbo.
you know you want to because there's a man in warwickshire who's starving and needs your money to get through the winter.

Hi Graham

If you are needing some sensible imprezas to make up the numbers then i would be interested. OEM suspension (tweaked by Curtis) for an interesting comparison to your big money set ups

What i would be able to test is if that hyperflow fuel surge tank works as the only place i managed to get my car to fuel cut before was curborough!

Quite happy to bring some spanners and lend a hand with the others, something to be learned everyday etc.

Curb is only up the road from me as im in brum so can do short notice if your hanging on for other AST users.

Dan:
put yourself on the #1 spot in the reserves!
I can confirm everything when I'm back on 1 Oct as Curtis is asking some other AST users over the next few days.

We need 10 cars for the day's hire (£45 each) and i do not know what I will have till 1 Oct.

Trust you understand.
