Thank's Bob.
She's been there before when my daughter was 3 and the room goes cold when you hear 'you have cancer', but not this time!

Great news about your wife, G. Give her my best regards please.

As for the nicking, tough one and bang to rights from as far as I could see from the first few posts. Speeding is a fact of life these days and nicking people for it keeps the police coffers full. Never going to change I am afraid.

BUT, I would wriggle like crazy if and when I get caught.

Road angel have a good set up and l have just added their laser alert system. When that yells; ' LASER!, LASER!, SLOW DOWN ! - I tell ya, I slow down.

Good luck David APi

Thanks for the thoughts David.
Can those detectors pick up the devices the Cop cars use though?

Any yes, I was doing 81 in a 70 so 'nicked' is my just reward.
Copper loved the 911 mind! (he was a petrol headed one, quite rare.)
Who wouldn't?

Usually in my experience when a copper sees a ' responsible ' adult driving fast, but Ok, they usually just warn you & let you go.

I certainly got told by a copper, when out in my wife's black Forester,
" l didn't expect to see someone your age in there " Cheeky sod. Then he followed up with; " How fast does it go?"

A bit of a chat about Subaru in general and " off you go then Sir, have a good evening."

He thought I had stolen it because it accellerated so fast up the road...
Just 230 bhp in 1000Kg.

Just an unlucky day.

Bet he expected an Old Guy to climb out of an Old Skool 911!
