On the subject in question, my opinion is that anyone breaking the law when abroad should expect to be dealt with according to the local legal system. That applies to any offence, not just one as serious as drug smuggling.
On the subject of "Put your toys back in your pram", I haven't thrown any, I am not the one resorting to name calling and abuse.
My post #25 was in response to your edit opining that it is "sad" to expect mods to adhere to the rules they are there to administer.

I don't see what the big deal with drug smuggling is anyway. Give it another 20 years and the goverment will finally realise prohibition is not working and legalise it.
Look at it this way, in Thailand you get caught 'drug' smuggling you get shafted big time, but....this is a country where you can buy ANY perscription drug by just walking into a chemist and asking for it, now I'm sure there are many equally addictive (if not more so when comparing to weed) drugs, but if they're made by a big western pharmaceutical then that's fiiiiiine.....don't worry about it. I mean WTF type of system is that?!?!?
Take a bag of weed out of the country get 4 months, but leave smacked out of your head on barbituates and a pocket full of uppers/downers/god knows what else and it's ok.
