Spend another few hours today removing glue from the panels. Got about 70% of the car glue free now so its getting there. Also swapped the fuel filler door back to the OEM one and now the carbon one is off the car.
Once i get the paint back to a level where it can be machined properly then it will be done so.
Was nice to just be out in the sun today with the doors open to give her a bit of an airing

Small update,
100% of the car is now fully devinyled and 90% deglued... i'll continue on this when i get a moment.
As for today i decided to drop the 2ltr long block back in and start mocking up the up-pipe/downpipe arrangement and finding out where the turbo will sit best.
The motor is sat on her mounts and bolted up to the bellhousing. The manifolds are on and i have a dummy up-pipe in place with the turbo loosely bolted up.
I have lots of fab work to do but at least she has a motor in here and the turbo system is under construction.
Heres a sneeky peek of todays work

Well nothin interesting to report. However i took the up-pipe off this morning to be sent back to the US (Long story) but it will be worth the wait.
Also took off my passenger side A pillar trim as thats going to be sent away to be re-flocked as i noticed it was just lifting in the corner... now might aswell freshen it up.
Now waiting on guy in the US.

Progress is progress...
I know these dont look like much at the moment. (a bit of imagination required on your part lol)
But these are my fuel rails in the making. The rails have already been machined. Now some nice 6mm billet brackets should fasten them down nice

Brackets marked, drilled and checked for fitment. They fit perfect, so im quite pleased about that.
Brackets require trimming to suit and rails now marked and aligned for welding

Frayz, what on earth has this got to do with Kiting?
Seriously, good to see you getting stuck in again,
who knows maybe those that reckon you will never finish it, and end up selling it as a shell might be wrong!

Lol, you see Neil, previously i dint give 2 ***** if i drove it or not. But now i actually want to work on it. Its nice that im in a position that if i wanna work on it, i can and if i dont, i wont.
You know me, if im interested in something and want to do it, i'll get stuck in. If not then i'll focus my attentions elsewhere.
So untill i get bored or theres more wind, you'll keep getting little Impreza updates, Ha ha ha
