With an uprated fuel pump you should be able to safely achieve IRO 320-330bhp, any further and you are running the turbo out of its efficiency zone. This will be obvious during mapping from airflow and wastegate duty data, no need to fit an air temp gauge if it is mapped correctly with an appropriate safety margin for your particular set up.
Some seem to love an interior full of gadgets and gauges, I personally hate it, it detracts from my driving pleasure ! Maybe I just see too much data in my day job
Theres not one extra gauge in my Spec C and thats running fairly highly tuned.
If you want to monitor anything I would have EGT and AFR and boost at the top of the priority list.

What headers do you have, i've got a set of Harveys ported & wrapped and they lowered the spool up by about 500rpm
The headers i have were supplied by Tracktive, and are a GT Spec 2 replica, and as i had a full wallet i had em ceramic coated, and the up pipe too. Having already spoken about spool and even torque i was assured these would be perfect for me.
/me is not convinced! lol

what a thread, just spent a fair time reading through it all. Am well, I'm glad I have an STi intercooler on mine Son wants to go FMIC for his, but from reading this, I'm gathering that an 04 WRX with STi scoop and intercooler would be perfectly fine with an 18g?
