I have to say on full difficulty you get some genuinely great racing with the AI, I've had some humdingers the last few nights.

 

the only assist i use with the pad is ABS

and that is only because i cant be be bothered to go and "sort" every cars brakes via the setups



edit. should have added, i use the braking line until i learn the tracks

 

Try the endurance race around Nordschleife - 7 laps in the Red Bull GT3, and for some reason the AI took a giant leap forward during that race.

ps - your tyres will only last 2 laps...

I never ever use braking line - half the fun is working out your own braking points and the assist line is too much of a distraction.

 

Sounds like fun! The GT3 Cup is my favourite car so far for sure.

Also agree with you on the braking line, if you've done trackdays etc. it doesn't take long to learn the basic lines on any course.

 

Only remembered about this towards the end of my session last night when I went to pick the GT3. Did a handful of laps, best being 2nd to last lap which was a 56.090 I did the usual trick of understeering slightly wide on the exit of the final bend which lost me enough momentum to miss getting into the 55's
