Hmmmm....I'm still on the fence, need another day or so with it. First comment is that I miss the 900 degree turn and stronger feedback of the DFPro.

Edcase I agree it's not as good as the DFP but it didn't cost as much either ?
it's a cheaper wheel but still a fairly good one if you don't get an off centre model

I'm using it without a seat (it's just on my lap) and haven't had any problems. Force feedback isn't as strong as the DFP+GT4, but some of that is the game itself. Try the wheel with Colin McRae Dirt, and the feedback is MUCH stronger...
Now I've used mine a lot I find it easier to feather the throttle and be more delicate with the steering. Never tried Forza 2 or Dirt without the wheel but I took me about a week to be able to beat my old lap records on PGR3. Couldn't be without the wheel now
I'm still not sure about the wheel, tried it on TDU and didn't get on with it and as i had tweaked my controller settings when i went back to the pad i struggled with that
Needs more options for adjusting the sensitivity, i find i steer slightly and nothing happens, add a bit more and i'm in the barrier

tried it on forza. takes some getting used to. Only did 5 laps with it but was improving. will persevere. I'll apologise now to anybody I crash into on Live when learning again.

Anyone thinking of getting a wheel I say just do it. I considered it and was worried I wouldnt like it having always used a pad, now I wouldnt want to go back to the pad. Did take a bit of getting used to but it has made the game so much more immersive and enjoyable.
Thought I did well to get it for £75!! Where did you get it for £61 for??

Okay, I'm convinced, once you get used to it, it's great.
Would still like more lock, and slighty more force feedback, and the brake pedal is too digital given the travel length, but when it comes to feathering the throttle and holding consistent radius turns, you just can't do that accurately on the pad on this game.
This is most noticeable when it comes to the race cars.
Just did a few laps on my newly-won red bull GT3 cup and the difference with the wheel is astounding when it comes to these cars where scalpel sharp accuracy and inputs is key.
Which is good, cos getting it back in that packaging was gonna be fun

Bought my wheel on Saturday, and after an hour realised it needs to be plugged in (rather than batteries) for the FF to work
I love the wheel, makes Forza very good indeed. Just need to fix it down properly now.
Where can you adjust the wheel settings? I looked in the Forza setup but couldn't see anything? I guess its in the dashboard then?

I don't know if you lot have noticed or not, but when you have got the wheel plugged into the mains, you don't actually need to have any batteries in it at all. I discovered that one after noticing that they weren't running out
