Hmm, I will have to read up on karting technique, as I have yet to drive a kart that was setup to benefit from left foot braking (apart from the start). All the ones I have been in have been rwd and rwd brakes, so brake and throttle at the same time just cancel each other out

It just helps prevent the engine bogging down out of the corners

So you brake with your right foot while karting? That I'd like to see!

I think the comment was aimed more at finesse and left foot feel rather than weight transfer

Huh RB5?

Anyway, there are karts that have a both peddles in a peddle box on the right hand side. For those karts you have to use your right foot for both peddles...

Oh, thanks TB

You can use LFB to keep the turbo on the boil too.

Damn I hope I don't meet any of you lot coming the other way on the backroads. LFB is a race/rally technique, I can't see why you would ever want to be that desperate to get round a corner quickly that you would need it. Rev-matching I can understand, I do it myself when changing down through the box just out of sympathy for my drivetrain. But LFB? Keep it for the track.
