could be epilepsy, guy at work started with similar symptoms (he got a deja vu feeling moment just before the queer feelings)

he is 41 and was diagnosed 18 moths ago, the medication he is currently on seems to be doing the trick and if all go well he will back on the road in a few months.

to start with he didn't know what the cause was, until the episodes got more and more frequent (he never had a full blown fit) and eventually went to the quacks/specialist.

Dear god, as if the chap was not a bit worried, you have all scared the Cr4p
out of him, personally i would hazard a guess its CO , that made yah feel light headed. CO into and around car, turn on aircon and all that air gets sucked into cabin of the car..

btw CO= Carbon Monoxide

best thing is get and see a doc asap, in case its not that.

Thanks mate, i though this was going to be costly.

I don't use the air con much as usually the weather in the highlands doesn't call for it. However it was 18 deg to day and the past few weeks have been rather warm in our part of the country. Long may it continue.!

Dude, was the coach a pimped up National Express job, and was the car a Saxo with a hole in the exhaust? It may just have been adrenalin as they would've left you standing!

I am a manager for National Express and all coaches that are less than 2yrs old have sensors everywhere. The engine would shut down if letting off to much Carbon. So it might be the car or the tell tail signs of a slight epeleptic seizure. My brother suffers from them, He had his 1st epeleptic seizure at 3mths old and he is now 26 and that is the feelings and smells he gets when he is about to have a seizure... Not trying to scare you but get it checked out mate....

Red face Red Bull Warning!

Just came across this post by accident. My experience just about killed me. Up until about a month ago i was a Red Bull addict, i dont mean like 3 cans a day. For 6 years i was doing at least 10-12 a day every day. And on one day i did a whole case My Job was mental, 18 hrs p[lus a day, constant driving, i knew i had a problem but after feeling really unwell for some time i went for a medi check up.

After my bloods came back, Dr said my internals were as bad as alcohol abuse, blood pressure was 155 over 101, heart rate at rest was 107. Man i was pumped up all the time.

It is considered more than one can a day is excessive, more than 2 is an addiction. i dont think i fell into one of those anyways!

The downside of giving up is the bad headaches yopu get for about a week, feeling like you have a hangover in the morning each day.

Anyway, i been clean for an hour or so after 2 weeks of them, i gave in too temptation after a frustrating day with the Scooby .

Really if anyone drinks them get some help if you drink too many, besdies i got 2 stone of redbull belly i got to loose!!

I should sue them for compo, they ought to have a health warning!

I hope you Vist to the Dr;s gives you a good result.

Cheers!

The headaches are probably down to a sinus infection, so i have some strong antibiotics and a nasal spray to clear that.

The blood results came back with my Liver Function test slightly high.
The doctor said it could be a virus making it high, but have taken some more blood to do some further tests. (AST and GGT tests).

I have to go back next friday for the next results, and see what they say.

My sugar levels and cholesterol is fine, but there is a chance i could have gallstones.

(I started to feel very weird. Burning sensation at the back of my head, fingers went tingly, and everything got a bit blurry.)

I get this feeling quite often,it's called my missus.

Hope you are OK.

Red.

Moley, did the doc give you any figures for your LFT's..?

There are usually 6 things that are checked in a liver function test (LFT) and it's not unusual for one or two to be slightly raised. Many people have raised levels without ever knowing or feeling any ill effects from it.

This is why he wants your gamma gt's (ggt) and AST's (not your coilovers..) checking as these can be more indicative of a specific problem.

Have you had any pains recently in your right upper abdomen (just under rib cage) or are the white's of your eye's yellowish, urine dark yellow?, which are typical symptoms of a gallstone attack (Cholelithiasis). Again, many people have gallstones without ever suffering any effects what so ever.

If not, these results are more than likely down to the virus you're carrying as the quack has hinted..

The main thing is you've done something about it and not ignored it, as too many people do. Especially men..!
