Another good review.

Vauxhall VXR8 (2007 onwards model) - First Drives | Reviews | MSN Cars UK

Looks like the only drawback is the interior and running costs. Really good second buy.

Bargain at just under 29k. A lot of car for the money.

Vauxhall : VXR8 2500 miles, Wortec bits.

Now I've seen a few in the flesh, I have to say I don't like the looks: It looks like its been covered in glue then driven through Demon tweeks.

It just has too much bolt-on body bits. And knowing how poorly made the bodykits are for the Monaro are, I don' thinks these will be any better: The problem is they are too big and heavy for the original mounts that support them - which were designed for the stock base model Commodore bumpers. The result is awful panel fitment of the mouldings.

I suppose it doesn't matter once your sat behind teh wheel though

But having seen the De-cluttered models, they look far more to my taste: HSV Grange

Looks the dogs in Heron White : Holden Special Vehicles - Build your HSV :

Pity they only do it in 6 speed Auto And its even bigger than a Commodore - and thats huge to start with!

Default vxr8 autocar video

A VXR8 is pitched against if i remember rightly an AUDI S5,a BMW 335d,a JAGUAR S type R,and a RB 320 in a 1 mile drag in a video from autocar called 40k heroes. It beats them all,but would have liked to see them tackle some corners aswell. With a supercharger i would expect it to be well into M5,E63 territory!!
